A man and a teenager have been charged over the fatal shooting of a boy on a property in Goulburn, south of Sydney. The nine-year-old was killed after being hit in the neck when a firearm went off accidentally. An investigation is ongoing, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

00:31Wales at around 11.20am yesterday morning. Now police say they were told that a young boy had
00:38been injured, the nine-year-old, after a firearm had accidentally been discharged and when paramedics
00:44arrived at the scene they found the nine-year-old suffering serious neck injuries and while they
00:49tried to save him he died at the property. The police are preparing a report for the coroner.
