00:00This made me sad yesterday.
00:02Calais Campbell was introduced back into the hearts of the Arizona Cardinals.
00:10And I got to tell you, I saw it on my timeline.
00:13They loved him.
00:14It immediately made me very, very sad.
00:16It means a lot.
00:17You know, bringing back a lot of memories, that's for sure.
00:21You know, even just walking through the building, you know,
00:24there's just like so many just memories poured out of me.
00:26And, you know, this is where I got my start.
00:31This is the team that believed in me and gave me the opportunity to live out my dream.
00:35And, you know, here we are, you know, all these years later,
00:38and they still believe in me, you know,
00:40still give me the opportunity to live out my dream.
00:42So, you know, I'm one of those guys that love this game so much.
00:45I kind of have to wake up and pitch myself like, is this real?
00:48You know, I still get to play football, you know.
00:50But I feel like I'm still good at it, still dominant,
00:52and I feel like I can really help this team.
00:53You know, a lot of talent all over the place.
00:57And, you know, I feel like, you know,
00:59the value I can bring is going to make a big difference, and I hope so.
01:03So, you know, go up my sleeves and, you know,
01:06get my hands dirty and do the best I can.
01:08Awesome.
01:09So glad the Dolphins didn't bring him back.
01:11What a guy.
01:11You know what's crazy about that?
01:13What a me guy.
01:15You know what's crazy about that?
01:18That's a guy right there that has never not been productive.
01:26Yet, for some reasons, he doesn't get paid because he's old.
01:31Right?
01:33But the film don't lie.
01:35I'm having a hard time believing that people have discarded this man
01:45and say we can't afford him or he's getting older
01:49without turning on the tape and say, I think he can help us.
01:56That really, really stung yesterday seeing him.
01:59I mean, like.
02:01You only had him for one year, though.
02:02I know, but it was a bit, you know, he was.
02:05It was a big year from him, and he's just the voice of the team.
02:09It sucks.
02:10And also, I feel bad for Zach Seeler.
02:12Like, Zach Seeler's got to sit here, and he lost his best friend
02:15in Christian Wilkins.
02:16Then he has new best friend, and he keeps losing his best friends.
02:20Yeah.
02:22You know, these two.
02:23Zach Seeler's just like, who do I got here now?
02:26Benito Jones or some rookie.
02:31Great.
02:31I mean, it's amazing that Zach Seeler is the guy on that line now.
02:38I know.
02:39That's great.
02:40When they brought him in, he was just a side note.
02:44Are you living in a trailer, man?
02:46Yeah.
02:47Yeah, that's me.
02:50He wasn't living in a trailer.
02:52Dude, you know, some of the mobile homes cost a million dollars.
02:55Dude, I saw the trailer.
02:56It wasn't that fancy a trailer.
02:58Okay.
02:58He's put pictures of it.
03:00It's not like the nicest.
03:01Did he have it hitched up to a dually?
03:03I think he lived in the parking lot.
03:06Hey, that new defensive line living in, he's literally chopping wood out there.
03:12He's going to be the first to the office.
03:14Why?
03:15Because he needs to come in and take a shower.
03:20Oh, man.
03:21By the way, some goosies yesterday, as far as some names that the Dolphins had visiting one, which is really cool.
03:29Mason Taylor, Jason Taylor's son, tight end LSU.
03:35He had a visit with the Miami Dolphins.
03:37Goosies.
03:38And then I saw yesterday, Bobby.
03:42You know what's crazy about him?
03:44What's up?
03:45Didn't he run like a 4-5?
03:474-4, something like that?
03:49I don't think.
03:49I'm seeing a 4-6.
03:52One of the tight ends.
03:53Was it?
03:54Was it?
03:54No, it was a Ronday's son.
03:56Was it a Ronday's son?
03:57Did a Ronday run a 4-5?
03:59A Ronday didn't.
04:00His son did.
04:01A Ronday Gadsden's son ran a 4-5.
04:03You know what's crazy, though?
04:04His son is, like, Mason, and I'm not trying to pit Dolphins Legends against each other.
04:09Mason is the 4th-ranked tight end behind Arroyo, Elijah Arroyo from the Canes.
04:15And then A Ronday Gadsden, the 2nd, is down to, like, the 13.
04:20Which is crazy.
04:21I don't understand.
04:25So, it could be a big value play there.
04:27Unless they're treating him like a wide receiver.
04:30Maybe.
04:30I don't know.
04:31But he is, that's according to ESPN's rankings right now.
04:35Obviously, Tyler Warren, the top guy everybody is looking at.
04:40And Colston Loveland, who is not a porn star.
04:44Yep.
04:45He's a Michigan guy.
04:46My name.
04:47Good name.
04:48If you were a porn star.
04:49Also, Michigan has put out some pretty good tight ends.
04:52Except the guy that got hurt.
04:53Remember the guy that got hurt in a bowl game?
04:56Yeah, the butts.
04:57Wasn't that butts?
04:58Butts, yeah.
04:59But I think he's playing.
05:01Let's see.
05:0340 times.
05:04I don't trust you anymore, AI.
05:06No disrespect.
05:10I'm seeing 4-6 for him as well.
05:12Really?
05:13Okay.
05:144-6.
05:15But Mason Taylor.
05:17Yeah, Mason Taylor visiting with the Dolphins.
05:19And then I saw Bobby Shouse.
05:22Even though I call him Bobby Shouse from the Dive Bar podcast.
05:29He said that Xavier Restrepo had a visit with the Dolphins as well.
05:33That's kind of coosies.
05:35Yeah.
05:37Hands.
05:37Not for nothing.
05:38He had a rough 40 time.
05:41No, a rough 40 time for sure.
05:42But he said he had a bad hammy.
05:43I kind of believe.
05:44Dude, there's no way he ran a 4-9.
05:47I'm glad he did.
05:48Because he's going to drop because of that.
05:49And I ran, I had to run my 40 in adverse conditions.
05:58Because we had, it was the only year, if you check, the only year in NFL history,
06:05they had so many underclassmen that came out that they had another combine.
06:14So they had a second combine.
06:16However, when they scheduled it in Indianapolis, farm aid was going on.
06:25So in, I want to say, March or early April, we had to run it outside.
06:33And it was freezing.
06:34I just don't understand.
06:38Like, he was so clearly, I know Arroyo was a dangerous weapon too.
06:42But Xavier Estrebo was the best weapon for Cam Ward.
06:46Yeah, but just because you're the best on your team doesn't mean you're the best.
06:50But you don't think he can play in the league?
06:53Here, I do think he can play.
06:55People are like writing his ass off because of this damn 40 time.
06:58No, like, and here's where, here's what's going to happen.
07:04Somebody is going to get a good value pick.
07:08See, I remember when I had my pro day, I ran a 40 and tweaked my hammy, so I didn't do nothing else.
07:15And that turned a lot of teams off, right?
07:19But Cleveland took me in the second round.
07:25And I kept track of it.
07:27I was the 10th or 11th running back taken.
07:31And there's only one running back in my draft that played longer than me.
07:37And you know who that was?
07:40Emmitt Smith.
07:41Emmitt Smith.
07:42Boom!
07:43The only running back...
07:44I thought that was too easy an answer.
07:45I thought for you, like, you sneakily got, like, one more game than Emmitt Smith.
07:49No, he played five more years than me.
07:52Cardinals Emmitt Smith.
07:53So, like, it's weird how this goes.
07:59Like, that's why I'm real hesitant in putting so much stock in the combine.
08:09Because you should be able to turn on the game film and see how he separates and whatever.
08:19Now, in fairness to the organizations, the reason why you need those numbers is because the guys that are covering you in college aren't NFL players.
08:33So, you need some type of number, as far as acceleration, speed, or whatever, that you can take that player and project him at the next level.
08:49So, that's why that stuff matters.
08:52But the most important thing should be the game film.
08:56The thing I'm looking at right now that I know is going to make Leroy crazy, but we're going to draft this dude from North Dakota State, this guard, and Leroy's going to be like, what?
09:05But he's the second-ranked guard!
09:07Gray Zabel.
09:10What?
09:11That's his name.
09:13Gray Zabel.
09:15Zabel with a Z?
09:17Yeah.
09:19I feel like we just got a...
09:20Dude, if you're a guard...
09:21I'm telling you right now...
09:22A Ukrainian lumberjack.
09:23If you're a guard in one of the Dakotas, you can guard.
09:26Like, that's just a man that's just...
09:27No, that's not...
09:28No, it's true.
09:28You're just fortified in the trenches.
09:30Okay, okay.
09:31Well, let's do this.
09:326'6", 3'12".
09:35Here.
09:36Can I...
09:36Can I ask you this question?
09:39And I'll ask you this.
09:41I make you a GM.
09:44Would you take the second-ranked guard from South Dakota State...
09:50North Dakota.
09:51North Dakota State.
09:53Or would you take the fifth-rated guard from Alabama?
09:59I think I'd take the second-ranked.
10:01This guy's 6'6", 3'12".
10:03Okay.
10:04Started 41 games.
10:05Okay, but who's he played against?
10:08Trenches are trenches, dude.
10:09No, that's not true.
10:10Trenches are trenches.
10:11Listen.
10:12Some trenches are different.
10:14Because a trench where you never have to deal with a defensive lineman that runs a 4'5 or 4'6 and is 290, right?
10:27You don't deal with that at North Dakota State.
10:32So, whereas he's dominant, and I'm not questioning his abilities.
10:38When a guy plays for one of these major universities, and he's blocking against other NFL talent every week, he seems to get a leg up on me.
10:55I'm not saying that he's going to be better.
11:00I'm not saying the guy from North Dakota State's not going to be awesome.
11:03But I'm saying, let's use the same thing we use with Restrepo.
11:10When I turn on the game film, if he's dominating a 260-pound defensive lineman, because that's all he's facing,
11:17versus a guy playing in the SEC or the Big Ten, where they run the ball, and this guy is playing against other NFL talent.
11:28But isn't that the case against, like, Gentry?
11:30Like, Gentry had, like, the one bad game against Penn State, and everyone's holding it over his head.
11:34But here's the difference, though.
11:36As a running back, regardless of who you play, right, you can judge making guys miss, breaking tackles, running with physicality.
11:52Those are things you can see at any level.
11:56Now, granted, everybody can say he wouldn't have ran for those yards in the SEC, which, again, he's also got the SEC line.
12:11You see what I'm saying?
12:12So, but the skill set is the skill set.
12:17You ain't going to, if you turn on the tape and watch him break tackles and watch him accelerate and watch him take it the distance,
12:26those things carry, especially for a running back or, say, a receiver that has great ball skills.
12:32For example, Randy Moss.
12:34He went to Marshall.
12:37Nobody questioned whether he was the best receiver or not, even though he went to Marshall.
12:42And he wasn't dealing with DBs that he may face on Sunday.
12:46Luis says, Vita Vea tossed our guy like 10 yards.
12:48Vita Vea tosses everybody 10 yards.
12:50That, let me tell you something.
12:52Vita Vea.
12:52He's Vita Vea.
12:54Right.
12:54He looks like the type of guy that he goes to the sideline and pulls a lamb chop out of his sock and snacks.
13:04Right.
