Transcript
00:00Yes guys, how's it going? I'm Henry Bright, a reporter for Sussex World and in this video we'll be discussing what Fabian Hursler said in his pre-match press conference before Brighton host the Foxes Leicester City in a Premier League fixture at the Amex.
00:16First and foremost he was speaking about the injury news that they had and it looks like Matoma is going to be doubtful for this one. He said that it will be a decision with a few more training sessions that they had or at least the one training session that they had on this Friday for him to judge and see what he thinks about whether he's going to be able to be in the starting line-up or the bench for this game.
00:42A positive bit of news though is the fact that Julio Igor, who has been out for a long amount of time due to injury, a long-term injury, seems like he might be back sooner than we think.
00:55Fabian Hursler were saying that he has been recovering really well, he's been looking sharp, he's been doing a lot of rehab for the injury that he's had and that he expects him to be back in the next few weeks.
01:07So he could potentially be playing some of the last few games for the Albion and that could be really big with the fact that there has been a number of injuries on the back line and having him back could be another boost for the Albion as they push for a European position.
01:21And talking about that, Brighton will need a really consolidated, strong performance against the Foxes.
01:29We know what happened last time round. It was 2-0 away to Leicester and then there were two quick goals scored by the home side on the occasion with Jamie Vardy getting a goal.
01:41And he even assisted the 2-2, the goal that made it 2-2 and Fabian Hursler was speaking about the high-pressure environment of the last game, which was against Crystal Palace and what lessons he can take into that for his players.
01:55And he said that in that game that they'd actually lost a bit of their identity and they weren't tracking back enough and he said that they had some really honest conversations that have led to some really positive sort of days and they hope to make that right for this game.
02:13So let us know what you think. I know this isn't our normal, lovely background, but it'll have to do for this one.
02:19See you next time. I've been Henry Bryant and for all the coverage for this Leicester City game and more, please check sussexworld.co.uk
