00:00Yes guys, how's it going? I'm Henry Bryant and that's Deron Howard. We're both reporters
00:04for Sussex World and we've just been to the Pre-match press conference as Bryton and Hovalbian
00:09go away to Manchester City in a Premier League clash. So Deron, talk to me about what Fabian
00:15Hosler was saying, obviously a fine run of form and looking to make this their 7th consecutive
00:20win.
00:21Yeah, I think they can go there with a lot of confidence. Obviously they've been playing
00:25so well ever since that Nottingham Forest game. For the last month they've been playing
00:32at a really high level. The intensity has been good, which they often talk about now,
00:37and the front five are just absolutely flying. So you've got Jankuba Minte, Karamatoma, Router,
00:44Pedro and then Danny Welbeck coming off the bench as well. So they've really been in good
00:48form and I think that attacking five, if they can get the defensive side right, that attacking
00:54five is a threat to anyone, including Manchester City, who aren't quite playing as good as
00:58they were in the past, but they're still going to be very dangerous, I think.
01:01Absolutely, and Fabian didn't really want to go into detail when asked about some sort
01:06of handbags moment that was seen, obviously with the likes of Guagliola and Van Hekman.
01:11He was also asked about the fact that he's already won one game, looking to do the double
01:16over Manchester City with this clash. So, yeah, what were your sort of impressions of
01:21him not wanting to get into that too much?
01:23Yeah, I think it was fairly... Obviously, Guagliola came on and had a real go at Van Hek.
01:30It was quite a public, very animated conversation and it's not the first time that Guagliola
01:36has done that as well, to opposing players. And I asked Herzele whether he has an issue
01:41with opposing managers having a go at his players like that and he was quite diplomatic
01:48in his response and said that he hopes that Guagliola gave him some good advice. But I
01:54think that clash is going to be crucial. Erling Haaland and Van Hek, it was a very physical
01:59battle at the Amex Stadium and I think it's going to be more of the same this Saturday.
02:06So that's one I've got my eye on. I think there's going to be lots of good personal
02:10duels all over the pitch, but I think that one in particular is going to be key to how
02:15Brighton play.
02:17It's going to be a really interesting match-up between the two sides and I mean they're very
02:21close in the table. Just going to one thing that was said in the broadcast section early
02:26on is Tony Bloom was spotted at Cheltenham and he said that these next few weeks and
02:32the last remaining games of the season could turn out to be the biggest historical point
02:37for the Albion in their history. What do you make of that? Do you agree with that?
02:41Well, I think it's really exciting times for Brighton at the moment. They're one point
02:46behind Manchester City who have that final Champions League spot. I think if they can
02:52get a positive result at the Etihad, then that's really going to set them up for the
02:57last nine games of the season where they can really push on for those Champions League
03:01places and you have to agree with Tony Bloom what he's done and the upward trajectory
03:07that Brighton have been on. If they can achieve Champions League football, that's huge isn't
03:13it in terms of the journey that they've been on. So yeah, you have to agree, it's a very
03:18historic time for Brighton. Playing really well, so let's just go for it in the final
03:23stages and see what they can do.
03:25Yeah, well it's all to play for. We'll see what happens. But thanks for watching and
