00:00Georgia, we'll start with Liverpool and what does look likely to be a bit of a post-title rebuild with Trent Alexander-Arnold seemingly set to leave for Real Madrid,
00:08potentially Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk leaving on free transfers too.
00:12How did we get here? And do you think there's any chance that any of those three end up staying at Anfield and making life a bit easier?
00:19That's the question everyone's been asking is how has it gotten to this point?
00:23Like pundits, fans, you know, how have you let three of your best players reach the point where we're two months away from the end of their deals?
00:31It's quite alarming. But yeah, I mean, all signs are pointing to Trent going.
00:37The reports have come out that he hasn't signed anything yet, but the agreement with Madrid is approaching.
00:44But I think Liverpool fans had kind of accepted that at the start of the year.
00:47There was the Manchester United game where he didn't play well at all and fans were already saying like, oh, his head's with Madrid already, like just get him gone.
00:56So there was some bad blood from the start of the year, really.
01:00You know, the people are burning Trent shirts and everything, like it's such a massive thing.
01:05It's ongoing with van Dijk and Salah.
01:08Like I keep seeing different things about, you know, oh, there's nothing happening, there's something happening.
01:12And loads of big outlets and journalists have said that they want to stay.
01:17Liverpool want them to stay. They're talking about new deals.
01:21And I read somewhere that they don't actually want a pay rise.
01:24They want to stay on the money that they're on, which I think is another huge incentive because wages has been a big topic.
01:30So I would like to be optimistic and say those two are going to stay because I think in terms of transfer links, Saudi was floating around and then it disappeared again, whereas Madrid have been in for Trent for, you know, ages now.
01:47So, yeah, I'm feeling quietly optimistic that they might just rumble a deal through, but anything could happen.
01:55I am kind of not at peace, but accepting all three could go, which would be a disaster, but I'm holding out that maybe Salah and van Dijk might be able to nudge a deal through.
02:08Not so much Trent.
