00:00Abiso po sa mga consumer, magtipid-tipid muna sa paggamit ng kuryente ngayong tag-init.
00:05Ito'y matapos mag-anunsyo ng taas singil na Meralco ngayong buwan ng Abril.
00:09Tumahas ang singil sa kuryente sa kabuhang rate na mahigit 13 pesos per kilowatt hour.
00:14Katumbas ito ng 145 pesos na dagdag sa bill para sa mga pamilyang kumukonsumo ng 200 kilowatt hour.
00:21Ayon sa Meralco, bunso dito ng pagtaas ng generation charge
00:24dahil sa mataas na presyo sa Wholesale Electricity Spot Market o WESM
00:28na sanhin ang kakulangan sa supply ng kuryente.
00:31Gayun din sa pagtaas ng transmission charge na bunso daman ng mas mataas na ancillary service charges.
00:37Kasama rin ang pagtaas ng iba pang singil gaya ng buwis at universal charges.
00:42Gayun pa man, bagyan na buwasan ng pressure ng pagtaas dahil sa pagbaba ng singil
