00:26Digitalization has been a big help in speeding up the opening of employment opportunities for Filipinos
00:34which is why the number of unemployed people in the country has also decreased.
00:38This is according to Labor and Employment Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma
00:42who also explained the drop in the unemployment rate in the Philippines
00:45based on data released by the Philippine Statistics Authority for the month of February.
00:50With the faster assessment of job seekers' qualifications and the suitability of jobs to their capabilities,
00:55job matching has become more efficient, making it easier for applicants to find suitable employment options.

01:45On this platform, applicants can see the salary rate, qualifications, and job description.
01:51The website also provides information on scheduled job fairs, trainings, career advocacy activities,
01:57and a list of accredited employers.
