00:00Hello there, good morning. Many of us this week have enjoyed the warm spring sunshine,
00:05but for some it's been awfully cloudy and felt quite cold at times too. But I'm pleased
00:09to inform you that a change is on its way. Now to start with, across the southeastern
00:14half of the UK it's going to be quite cloudy, but eventually this cloud will burn its way
00:18back to coastal areas, mainly across coasts of East Anglia. Sussex and Kent, for example,
00:22might see quite a cloudy afternoon, particularly around shorelines. But for many, particularly
00:27across northeastern parts of Scotland, northeastern parts of England, seeing a much brighter
00:31day and a much warmer day to come too. Taking a look at temperatures, we could see highs
00:35of around 20 degrees Celsius across parts of Aberdeenshire. Northeastern parts of England
00:39seeing 19 to 20 degrees too as we head through into the afternoon. And if we compare that
00:44to temperatures yesterday, that's a good 10 degree difference in some places. So feeling
00:48a lot brighter and a lot warmer in that sunshine too. But even elsewhere, it's going to be a
00:53pleasant day to come. Now through into the evening, plenty of clear skies, so a nice sunset, but
00:59those temperatures are soon going to dip away as the sun goes down. Potentially seeing some
01:03mist and fog patches, particularly across the south, we could see some low cloud drifting
01:06in here. And across the far north of Scotland, plenty of cloud lingering here as well. But
01:11for many, it's going to be a dry night, feeling a little bit chilly under those clearer skies,
01:15but it's not going to be turning quite as cold as it has done recently.
01:18So some patches of mist and fog to start, but those will clear quite quickly through
01:23the course of the morning. And that leads us in to a fine and settled end to the week.
01:27Lots of sunshine, wall to wall, blue skies for many. The only caveat is going to be across
01:32the far north of Scotland. Further cloud moving in here, Shetland and Orkney, for example,
01:37seeing quite a cloudy day ahead and eventually seeing some rain and drizzle as we head into
01:40the afternoon and turning quite breezy across these cloudier areas too. Perhaps more hazy sunshine
01:46across Scotland, but it's still going to be a decent end to the week and fairly good temperatures
01:50as well too. Highs of 21 degrees Celsius, but I wouldn't be surprised if you get to 22 or 23
01:55where the sunshine sticks around. Now, if you are a fan of the sunshine, it's time to enjoy it,
02:01because I'm afraid to say a change is coming over the weekend. Across the south on Saturday,
02:05there's still going to be lots of dry weather, but we're eventually going to see a change from the
02:08north, particularly later Saturday through into Sunday. Some frontal systems moving in,
02:12so more cloud, some showers and also some outbreaks of rain, and those temperatures are going to start
02:17to cool away as well. But don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel and then we'll update you
02:22daily on the weather. Otherwise, that's it from me. Bye-bye.
