00:00The Bureau of Internal Revenue will call on taxpayers to pay the right amount by April 15 before the deadline of filing of the annual income tax return on Saturday.
00:12In the program Mike Abe Live, BIR Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr. said that the result was good when they started filing the annual ITR last year.
00:24In 2024, BIR collected more than Php 2.85 trillion more than in 2023.
00:33And now in 2025, their target is more than last year.
00:37They can file and pay the tax online or visit their offices.
00:43The target that we were assigned is Php 3.23 trillion for 2025.
00:51So it's very high and we really need to focus on the collection of fees.
00:57We hope that we will do our best so that we can always meet this target.
