00:00It is expected that the number of residents who will be evacuated along with the eruption of volcano Canlaon in Negros will increase.

00:08According to the Office of Civil Defense, more than 30,000 individuals have been evacuated to evacuation centers within two days.

00:18According to OCD Assistant Secretary Raffy Alejandro,

00:22they are well-prepared in case the situation worsens and the alert level of volcano Canlaon rises.

00:29According to them, 84,000 should be evacuated out of the 15 barangays near the volcano.

00:36But as of now, only 46% have been evacuated.

00:41According to Alejandro, not everyone goes to evacuation centers because others are evacuating their loved ones.

00:48OCD continues to coordinate with the PNP to ensure security

00:53in entering the 6-kilometer Permanent Danger Zone of volcano Canlaon.

00:58Just as the PNP will add more personnel, set up checkpoints,

01:03and target the task force of Canlaon to complete the evacuation within a week.

01:11We are assured that the national government is there to help and augment.
