00:11an election is actually a very complicated affair. There are other problems, like dedicated
00:17manpower to canvass the ground, make sure that the engagement is properly done. If you
00:24have 44 candidates, then the communication strategy will be even more complicated. So
00:30learning from the last experience, we thought this round, we have to focus. And that's the
00:36reason why probably we'll be fielding fewer candidates. And at the moment, I think there
00:40are enough people, parties who are coming in to contest in every walks. In fact, our
00:46main concern now is to make sure they don't do a three corner fight. In this era, we are
00:51always against the by-election strategy, where you deprive a majority of the Singaporeans
00:57from experiencing democracy.
