00:00In addition to providing early education to children,
00:03President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is also focusing on the nutrition of the students who will study.
00:09The details are reported by Kenneth Faciente of PTV.
00:15President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. approved the signing of the Joint Circular
00:20between the Department of Budget and Management and the Department of Education
00:24for the establishment of Child Development Centers in the country.
00:27Here, President R. Marcos Jr. gave the importance of early childhood care
00:31so that the children will be assured that they will be the foundation of the country in the future.
00:36The target is to establish 328 CDCs in the country
00:41where low-income barangays will be a priority.
00:44In addition to this, President R. Marcos Jr. emphasized the other government programs
00:48including the First 1,000 Days of Life Program
00:52to improve the health and nutrition of the children in the first 1,000 days.
00:56As well as the Supplementary Feeding Program, School-Based Feeding Program,
01:00and No Hunger Program for Vulnerable Sectors.
01:04My fellow Filipinos, we recognize that education goes beyond what happens just inside the classroom.
01:11The government continues to find ways to support our children so they can grow,
01:16they can thrive, and reach full potential.
01:19Through health and community programs, we remain committed to helping them
01:24become productive members of our society.
01:27Before the ceremonial signing,
01:29President R. Marcos Jr. also bonded with some preschoolers from the Manila Child Development Center
01:34where he educated the children of the book entitled, The Five Tuts.
01:38President R. Marcos Jr. also welcomed his two dogs, Tecky and Lucky.
01:43President R. Marcos Jr. was also the first to work and provide health services
01:46in the new Philippines Caravan in Antipolo, Rizal.
01:50Hundreds of jobs were brought to the beneficiaries
01:53that ended up in the Pantawig Pamilya Para sa Pilipino Program of the government.
01:57In addition to this, the medical mission was led by the health department
02:01and other services of the government.
02:04Fifty individuals were hired on the spot in the so-called job fair.
02:08Aside from these activities, the President also had private assistance
02:12that concentrated on the children who will do well in the country.
