00:00Thousands of people participated in nationwide protests against U.S. President Donald Trump
00:06and Tesla boss Elon Musk.
00:08Protests took place across major cities from Washington, D.C. to Boston, New York and San
00:13Francisco.
00:14The protest movement, so-called Hands Off, was organized for more than 1,200 locations
00:19in all 50 states by more than 150 groups.
00:22Demonstrators voiced their objection to the Trump administration's approach and policies,
00:27which they've labeled as damaging.
00:29Critics rallied against Trump tariff policies, which have sent global stock markets into
00:33a frenzy.
00:34Protesters also demonstrated against Musk, who runs the newly created Department of Government
00:39Efficiency, or DOGE.
00:41Musk has courted controversy for DOGE's aggressive cost-cutting measures, which have laid off
00:45thousands of federal employees and effectively shuttered entire agencies.
00:50Protests also spilled over beyond the borders, with various Hands Off marches taking place
00:54across European capitals.
00:57U.S. citizens living abroad, as well as foreign nationals critical of Trump, participated
01:01in protests from London to Berlin.
01:03Protesters rallied against U.S. foreign policy and advocated for Ukraine.
01:11The death toll from a Russian strike on the central Ukrainian city of Krivori has risen

02:35animals, like swine, sheep and goats, causing fever and mouth blisters.
02:41Outbreaks often lead to trade restrictions and culls of some livestock.
02:45Austrian health authorities are conducting rigorous checks at the few open border crossings.
02:50Cars and pedestrians crossing on foot have to pass over an epidemic rug to prevent the
