01:21The incident marks a major blow to the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group, who toppled Assad in
01:25early December in a surprise rebellion.
01:28The international community has called on all parties to exercise restraint and respect
01:33the rights of all Syrians, regardless of personal and religious beliefs.
01:40At least 14 people have been killed and as many as 30 people were injured in a fresh
01:45wave of Russian strikes on Ukraine.
01:48Local officials in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region said 11 people were killed, while authorities
01:54in the Kharkiv region said three people had died from the Russian drone strike overnight.
01:59The attacks came hours after the U.S. confirmed it had limited Ukraine's access to satellite

03:41The leaders of the center-right and center-left parties in Germany say formal coalition talks
03:47will begin next week after preliminary exploratory talks ended on Saturday.
03:52Frederick Metz, leader of the CDU, reiterated his goals of curbing irregular migration,
03:57while the head of the Social Democratic Party told reporters that he heard the party's
04:02view reach a consensus on Monday.
