Elm co-owner Nik Daughtry sits down with The Star to talk about his latest venture - an evening restaurant run out of the popular city cafe.

00:00So, Element Night Restaurant is coming off the back of our set up Bistro Pops.
00:05Bistro Pops was a way of having a guest chef each month come and do a restaurant night.
00:12This is where we met Nathan. It was very much apparent straight away that we both kind of sort
00:18of really drew into kind of the local ingredients, quality product. So yeah, the relationship with
00:27Nathan built really quickly. Nathan was looking for a spot and it was just a natural fit that we
00:32could collaborate together in Elm and bring sort of day experience more into the night for more
00:38people. Elm is a support of the natural wine industry. All our wines are natural. Elm Restaurant
00:46will be a set menu. There'll be a short menu and a long menu. So you can come in, if you come in
00:53just after work, you can kind of come in for a four course dinner or you can opt for the
00:58seven course dinner which has you here for kind of the whole evening.
