00:00Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said that more than 100 victims whose homes were partially damaged

00:06due to the burning of the gas pipeline today in Putra Heights will receive RM2,500 each.

00:14Anwar also said that the owners of the completely destroyed houses will receive RM5,000 as a result of the fire.

00:21He said that repairing and rebuilding the damaged buildings

00:25is the responsibility of the government and the state, as well as Petronas.

00:30Meanwhile, the Malaysian supermarket chain Maidin Muhammad Holdings Berhad offered RM10,000 to the victims.

00:38The large fire that spread to several houses and forced the residents to move

00:42was finally extinguished at 3.45 pm.

00:46At least 190 houses, 148 cars and 12 motorcycles were destroyed in the fire.

00:54Prime Minister Ameduddin Syari said that 305 victims have been sent to the temporary relocation center

01:00or are being treated at the Sembang Jaya and Sunway Medical Center

01:04as well as Kerajaan Hospital, Serdang and Putrajaya.
