(Adnkronos) - Nel cuore del parco Increa, nel comune di Brugherio (Mb), nasce il Biodiversity Lab realizzato da E.ON, tra i principali operatori energetici in Italia, e Rete Clima, impresa sociale che dal 2011 accompagna le aziende verso percorsi di Esg e decarbonizzazione.
Il Lab nasce in seguito al successo di quello di Giussano (MB), inaugurato nel 2024, e si inserisce nell’ambito del più ampio progetto Boschi E.ON e della Campagna forestale nazionale Foresta Italia.

01:01In the context of the new E.ON Nature Strategy, we have also begun to measure the so-called social value, through an indicator that measures the return on investment as a social impact.
01:14And we have seen that, for example, the 17,200 shrub trees of 2024, of which 2,000 are here in Brugherio, have a return measured over 30 years, in terms of benefits not only environmental, but also social and economic, on the yield, on the quality of the air.
01:32And we have measured that, for every euro invested, there is a return of 3 euros, which means improving the quality of life of the communities where we are going to do these interventions and, in the end, benefiting everyone, because there is a better environment and, as in this case, a park where everyone can find a space to breathe clean air and enjoy the green.
01:56The Biodiversity Lab of Brugherio was born following the success of the Lab of Giussano, always in Brianza, inaugurated in 2024, and is part of the most extensive project Boschi E.ON and the Italian Forest National Forestry Campaign.
02:11The Lab of Brugherio is set up as a resilient urban forest, capable of adapting to climate change and of providing environmental ecological benefits, thanks to various types of intervention, such as the mini-forest, which recreates the microclimate and biodiversity of a natural forest,
02:28to the installation of bug hotels, real houses for insects that can thus be repaired and colonize the surrounding environment, to the biostoys floating, positioned on the lake of the park, which promote the growth of aquatic plants, improve the aquatic ecosystem and offer a safe refuge for birds.
02:46Finally, the water lilies, a hydrophilic herb, the water lilies are also able to withstand droughts, capable of improving the quality of water, of offering refuge and incubation areas for numerous aquatic invertebrates, favoring biodiversity. Finally, the water lily forest is made up of arboreal species that enjoy the presence of water.
