00:00The key themes in my work are human perception and memory.
00:11I was always intrigued by how differently people see the same things and how with time
00:18our memories change to something completely different from reality.
00:26I'm trying to show how twisted the reality is in my own head.
00:43I'm Kit Asavi.
00:44I'm a traditional artist, digital artist, and NFT artist.
00:57I've been drawing for as long as I can remember.
01:00When I was a kid, I could draw all day without getting out of the room.
01:05During my years as a freelance designer, I started to experiment with digital art.
01:17I used 3D software.
01:18I used 3D and VR sculpting tools.
01:22I used my phone and a camera for photography, and sometimes I used traditional artist tools
01:29like oil pastels, colored pencils, or marker pens to create drawings.
01:39NFT stands for an unfungible token.
01:42It's a record that shows who created a unique piece of a digital content and who owns it.
01:52This information, as well as all other transactions like sales or transfers, is stored on crypto
01:59currency blockchains.
02:05To increase the value of an artwork, you have to do what you can to get your name out there.
02:14So far, I've sold 43 artworks on the Ethereum network.
02:19My highest sale is a little more than 5 ETH.
02:31Selling my artworks as NFTs was a life-changing experience.
02:35It helped me to fulfill my childhood dream to become an artist.
02:44I had my first group and solo exhibitions this year because more people got interested
02:50in digital art.
02:59I'm trying to create something people haven't seen before.
