Lady Tamaraws push Lady Warriors on brink of elimination  The FEU Lady Tamaraws clinch their second straight win and sent the UE Lady Warriors on the brink of elimination in the UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball tournament with a 25-20, 25-20, 25-23 win at the FilOil EcoOil Center on March 26, 2025. Jaz Ellarina logged a career-best 17 points on 12 attacks, three aces, and two blocks on top of four digs for FEU, which rose to solo second with a 6-3 record. Kay Cepada notched 13 points, 11 digs, and eight receptions for the Lady Warriors who stayed winless at 0-9. 00:32Coach, what is your mindset for the second round to help the F.E.U.?

00:36My mindset right now is,

00:38the most important thing for us is that we are a middle blocker.

00:41So we are really good at blocking.

00:44So that is our mindset for the second round,

00:48that we should not just attack.

00:50Because we are a middle blocker, so we should be able to contribute to the team.

00:55And it is very crucial for the system that we are building.

00:59So that is one of the big factors that I have in my mindset,

01:03that we should not just be aggressive in attacking, but also in blocking.

01:08I am happy because I learned a lot from them.

01:11Every training, every game.

01:13And I am looking forward to learn more from the two of them.

01:19Coach T said to us, the two setters, that we will lead the whole team.

01:25So while we still have a chance,

01:28we will always help our team on how to do that.

01:31Every game, I tell them that they have an opportunity to play.

01:35Every game.

01:36Because that is a respect to our opponents.

01:39But it is up to them if they will deliver or not.

01:42But the opportunity, I tell them every time that there is an opportunity,

01:46every minute.

01:48So...

01:51And again, the consistency.

01:53That is what he gave me.
