UP deals NU first loss in UAAP women's volleyball  Behind Niña Ytang’s career-game, the UP Fighting Maroons score a massive upset as they dealt the NU Lady Bulldogs their first loss of the season, claiming a 26-24, 23-25, 17-25, 25-23, 15-12 win in the UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Center in San Juan City on March 26, 2025. Ytang fired 30 points on 27-of-42 attacks and three blocks for the fifth seed UP which improved to 4-5 and dealt the league-leading NU its first loss of the season. 03:45Coach said after the game, this word, discipline, can make us win or make us lose.

03:55If we don't have discipline, we'll lose.

03:57No matter how strong we are, how well we defend, if we don't have discipline, nothing will happen.
