00:00All right we have some news coming in at this point in time. Let's take a look at
00:04these breaking developments. Actor and comic Karthik stands with Kunal Kamra and
00:09Savaku. Comic Karthik bats for freedom of expression. Asks why target comics but
00:15not hate speech. Karthik says don't trust governments on censorship. Savaku is
00:21voice of resistance says Karthik. Kunal Kamra is right to speak out. It's a big
00:27message to Stalin and to Shinde.
00:34Getting in details on support that is now pouring in for Kunal Kamra and also
00:39Savaku Shankar. Where actor Karthik says Kunal Kamra has the right to speak out.
00:44Why target comics but why not target hate speech instead. Don't trust the
00:50government's censorship. Savaku is voice of resistance says Karthik. Kunal Kamra
00:56has right to speak out. It's a big message that has been given out to MK
01:00Stalin and also to Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde.
01:10As a stand-up comic yourselves, do you feel that the freedom of expression has
01:17been stifled now more than ever? Should the government now start to introspect,
01:23relook and rejig its stance as to what's defamatory and what's criticism. While
01:29the former is objectionable, the latter is acceptable. So how do you
01:34differentiate between the two? I think both politicians and stand-up comics are
01:40answerable to the Constitution only from a legal perspective. Is what
01:47Kunal Kamra said unconstitutional or illegal? Absolutely not. Does he have the
01:52right to say whatever he does whether it's good or bad or whether it's good
01:57form or bad form or oh such bad things comedians end up saying. It's not
02:04illegal or unconstitutional and that's the same reason why political hate
02:08speeches which are just as frivolous, stupid and sometimes even clownish gets
02:16passed today in our country. So I think you should you should deal with this
02:20from a very very constitutional perspective because both politicians
02:24and stand-up comics both are citizens of this country. Well you know like you
02:29mentioned how politicians make such frivolous speeches and get away with it
02:33while stand-up comics are being targeted. Do you think that this is because you
02:38know stand-up comics and artists are relatively vulnerable they wouldn't have
02:42the kind of contacts that ordinarily a politician would do? Do you think this is
02:47stemming from that how artists are most importantly being targeted? I can
02:51understand politicians who are fighting for validation from the from the voters
02:56as such but we are talking about the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief
03:00Minister of a state. You know they're representative of every single citizen
03:05every voice of dissent is also something that they represent. You know this is
03:10tantamount to saying oh if he said something against us then our you know
03:15Akkar Saibak and Arshav Sainik will do whatever they want and whatever they
03:19feel. If his venue that he's performing at if his safety can be thrown in
03:24jeopardy because he said something in resistance in opposition to the view of
03:29the current ruling party and if that leaves him vulnerable it leaves the
03:35entire country vulnerable right now to politicians who want to have an
03:40autocratic anarchist way of having their say.
03:45Going straight to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister. This is an interview which is
03:52being done at this point in time. Let's take a listen.
04:15Uttar Pradesh
04:45I am not Raha, I am the Chief Minister even in the present. And that's why in the last 8 years
04:59because of the leadership of my party, because of the support of all the leaders of the party and
05:08the support of all the leaders of the supporting parties, because of the support of each and every
05:13worker of the Indian People's Party and the support of other supporting organizations,
05:21the support that we have received from the people, so this is the first time that our government
05:29has got the opportunity that after independence, a Chief Minister works continuously for 5 years
05:36and again with a two-thirds majority becomes the government. This was the first time and this
05:49opportunity was also associated with us. And for the last 8 years we have been serving here.
05:57So the model of service, security and governance of our party, by applying it effectively in Uttar Pradesh,
06:07today the support of Janata Janardhan is with the Indian People's Party, is with us.
06:14And in democracy, the one who will have the support of Janata Janardhan will come to the government.
06:19So this triple S is a triple time government?
06:22Triple S is an example of that.
06:25So will you try for the third time?
06:28I will not try, our party will try.
06:31But you will become the Chief Minister, right?
06:33No, why can I become? Any worker of the Indian People's Party can become.
06:38Okay, because such obstacles were being put up, because you had said that in the first term,
06:45some officers had told you not to go to Ayodhya, there could be a controversy.
06:51And you said that even if the government leaves, it is okay.
06:54Now you have said this 2-3 times that the government will leave, they will give up.
06:59When such things happen, then obstacles are put up that maybe Yogi Ji is looking towards Delhi,
07:04or an invitation has come from Delhi.
07:06Look, these examples are about those incidents where the spirit of moving forward the heritage comes forth.
07:22Before 2017, what was the situation of Ayodhya?
07:25Everyone knew.
07:27When we used to travel to Ayodhya, there used to be a lot of barriers.
07:37There was a lack of basic facilities.
07:40And Ayodhya was in need of its identity.
07:48In 2017, the government of the Indian People's Party was formed in Uttar Pradesh.
07:54And after the formation of the government in Uttar Pradesh, we had to face a lot of challenges.
08:01The feelings that were suppressed there due to the promise of freedom.
08:08Along with that, we had to develop Ayodhya as a whole.
08:13But Ayodhya also had to give its identity.
08:16And in that, there was a big group that believed that we should not touch on such issues.
08:26Because it can be controversial.
08:29Look, if you stay in power, there will be a favorable environment for you and also adversity.
08:39When we move forward, we will be able to give some results.
08:50And this is what happened with Ayodhya.
08:53We said, if there is opposition, let it be.
08:55We will see.
08:57We will go to Ayodhya.
08:59We will start a program that can become the identity of Ayodhya.
09:04Deepavali was associated with Ayodhya.
09:07Deepotsav.
09:09And the program of Deepavali was completely forgotten in Ayodhya.
09:16So we brought the identity of Ayodhya with the Deepotsav program.
09:20So there, we expressed our gratitude to Lord Ram and Mother Sarayu through Deepotsav.
09:31The result of that is in front of everyone in the form of a new Ayodhya.
09:36So the vision of the Prime Minister towards heritage is seen in Ayodhya.
09:47You must have seen that in Ayodhya, in a year, a few lakh people used to come.
09:52Today, crores of people are reaching there.
09:54Agriculture is flourishing there.
09:57People are getting many opportunities.
10:01So we should worry about our power and forget our heritage.
10:07So I feel that we are not able to do justice.
10:12With ourselves, with our society and with our country.
10:17Yogiji, you have mentioned the double engine government.
10:20Akhileshji says, what is double engine?
10:22Now the engines don't even greet each other.
10:25See, these were their values.
10:28We respect our heritage, respect our current leadership and respect our ancestors.
10:38But those who have the ideal Aurangzeb, their attitude will be the same.
10:46And people have seen it with their own eyes.
10:49Why do you say that their Aurangzeb is ideal for them?
10:53Because they are glorifying Aurangzeb.
10:56All of them are in that category.
10:59Their leaders from Mumbai to Lucknow.
11:04All of them are glorifying Aurangzeb.
11:07So whoever has an ideal, he will have his own character.
11:15This is what our culture says.
11:20Whoever is worshipped, he becomes like that.
11:27We consider Ram, Krishna, Shiva as our ideal.
11:34We worship them.
11:36So naturally, their good qualities are included in us by their grace.
11:42Those who consider Aurangzeb and Babur as their ideal,
11:46their good qualities will be seen in them.
11:49And people have seen it with their own eyes.
11:51And they will continue to see it.
11:53They say that you don't know anything about the history.
11:57They said about Rana Sangha that they were the ones who invited Babur.
12:02You don't know anything about your heritage.
12:06History, these people know.
12:09History, these people know who glorify Jinnah.
12:14We remember that in Uttar Pradesh,
12:18we were joining with Lopur Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's Run for Unity.
12:31We had invited all the residents of the state for this.
12:35We had invited the government, the BJP, all the parties.
12:41On one hand, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel,
12:45who is the ideal of unity of India.
12:47He is the artist of unity of India.
12:52We were expressing our faith in him.
12:56And these people were glorifying Jinnah.
13:00So this is the same category.
13:03This is the same breed.
13:05They glorify Babur, Aurangzeb and Jinnah.
13:11So what will be their feelings towards the country?
13:14What will be their feelings towards the heritage of India?
13:16What will be their feelings towards the great men of India?
13:19This can be guessed from this.
13:22And these people are opportunists.
13:26It won't take long to turn them upside down.
13:29If they are doing it today, they will have to vote somewhere.
13:34Some of their leaders have started giving statements
13:37that the loss that is happening,
13:39and those who are standing in the gutter,
13:41they have started talking about it.
13:44No, sir, they have said it wrong.
13:48And he was a national hero.
13:51If he had read the history of the Rana Sangha,
13:54the great warrior,
13:56whose wounds of the body told us
14:00that to save India's religion and culture,
14:03what kind of heroism he had shown at that time.
14:07Will these people tell about Mahana Pratap, Mahana Sangha,
14:10Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Guru Govind Singh?
14:16What do these people know about history?
14:19Those who worship Aurangzeb and Babur,
14:21those who consider Jinnah to be their ideal,
14:23why can't we expect this from these people?
14:25You had a speech in the Vidhan Sabha.
14:28You said that if they are glorifying Aurangzeb,
14:33they should come to UP.
14:36We will treat them.
14:38How will you treat them?
14:40There are different centers for treatment of any disease.
14:44So, UP gives very good treatment to such people.
14:49We will give treatment as per their demand.
14:53Maharaj, is a Muslim safe in your kingdom?
14:57Because every day we talk about Sanatan.
15:00You are a Yogi, Chief Minister, Maharaj.
15:04What are you?
15:06I am an ordinary citizen of UP.
15:09I am a Yogi.
15:12I pray for everyone's happiness and well-being.
15:17I believe in everyone's support and development.
15:22I work with the same spirit.
15:27You tell me,
15:29the most ancient religion and culture in the world is Sanatan.
15:38You can guess from its name.
15:44There is no religion or caste in the world
15:50which was not given refuge by Sanatan during its decline.
15:56It was not given an opportunity to protect it.
16:00It was not given an opportunity to flourish in any way.
16:06But what did it get in return?
16:10What did it get in return?
16:13There is no example in the world.
16:16There is no example.
16:19That anywhere in the world,
16:22the Hindu kings have established dominance over anyone
16:27by their power and influence.
16:34There is no such example.
16:37For example,

20:24There can be no greater pleasure than this, no greater pleasure than this,
20:28even if it is heaven.
20:29And that is why we will not do it here.
20:31I am giving this example so that those who attack Sanatan Dharma,
20:36their eyes should open.
20:37They should see that this example is enough in front of us.
20:40And you will get many such examples from time to time.
20:44Chief Minister, you talked about eliminating diseases,
20:47but sometimes it feels like you are talking about eliminating diseases.
20:51The bulldozer that is going on today in Nagpur,
20:54the court also says that this bulldozer justice should be stopped.
20:58But no one is stopping it.
21:00It is still going on in Nagpur.
21:02So when this bulldozer justice has been banned,
21:04is it still going on?
21:05Look, those who believe in justice, there is justice for them.
21:08Those who take justice and law in their own hands,
21:11then many times,
21:13they are taught a lesson by staying within the limits of the law.
21:21Those who understand, should be taught in the same language.
21:26You tell me, if someone comes to attack us as a violent person,
21:32and we scream at him.
21:34No, if he comes as a violent person,
21:36then he will have to first take revenge for his violence.
21:40You are talking about the limits of the law.
21:42Then you said that,
21:44I am coming to Sambal,
21:45you said that there are 65 pilgrimage sites in Sambal.
21:4864.
21:4964.
21:5018 are identified.
21:52Yogi ji,
21:53Now it has increased to 54.
21:55How many sites will you dig?
21:57How many mosques?
21:58I will find all the sites.
22:02I will find all the sites,
22:03I will find all the sites,
22:05and I will tell the world,
22:08that whoever has eyes, come and see,
22:12what happened in Sambal.
22:16See, Sambal is a truth.
22:18And I am not saying this because,
22:20you have complete freedom of worship.
22:24You can make it anywhere.
22:26But you have worked by deviating from the issues of Islam.
22:30But these have been made.
22:31They have been made.
22:32Islam says that any Hindu temple,
22:34or any Hindu house,
22:36that has been made by you,
22:38any worship site,
22:40God does not accept it.
22:42Why did you make it?
22:44You are speaking against Islam.
22:47But you are living within the limits of the law.
22:49We are living within the limits of the law and doing everything.
22:51If you are living within the limits of the law,
22:53then why are you raising the issue of Mathura?
22:55Why not Mathura?
22:56Isn't Mathura the birthplace of Shri Krishna?
22:58But that is in the court now.
23:00We are following the orders of the court.
23:02Till now, a lot has happened there.
23:04So, Ayodhya, Kashi, and now Mathura as well.
23:07How many more?
23:09You tell me,
23:11the important sites of Sanatan Hindu religion,
23:15all those sites are the symbol of our heritage.
23:19See, in the name of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia,
23:21a lot of people do politics.
23:23You are taking out 65 sites in Samban.
23:25Not 65, 68.
23:27We have taken out all 68 sites.
23:29We have taken out more than 54.
23:31And we are looking for the rest.
23:33We have the Shastra proofs.
23:35We are showing them where they are.
23:37Whoever has occupied them,
23:39we will take them out one by one.
23:41How many mosques will you take out?
23:44It is not about the number of mosques.
23:46We will take out as many as we can.
23:50Last year, on the occasion of Ram Navami,
23:52in Bengal,
23:54there was a lot of violence.
23:56There was a demonstration.
23:58This time also, BJP is saying
24:00that there will be a Shobha Yatra in Ram Navami.
24:04In Uttar Pradesh,
24:06on Eid and Ram Navami,
24:08have you given any strict instructions
24:10that there should be no violence?
24:12Look,
24:14we sit with the administration from time to time
24:16and we have already prepared
24:18an SOP for this.
24:22And Uttar Pradesh
24:24is the first state
24:26which has,
24:28according to the instructions
24:30of the Supreme Court,
24:32the mic of the religious sites,
24:34the sound that used to come out
24:36of its surroundings,
24:38has it been controlled or removed?
24:41It has been controlled
24:43through this conversation.
24:45You tell me,
24:47that
24:49in a state like Uttar Pradesh,
24:53if we can do it,
24:55why can't we do it in Bengal?
24:57Here, on Holi,
24:59there was a toppling on the mosque.
25:01Look, if we are playing,
25:03it is possible.
25:05No one was harmed by it.
25:07You tell me.
25:09You tell me,
25:11if there is a procession in Muharram,
25:13doesn't the shadow of their flag
25:15fall on the Hindu house
25:17near the temple?
25:19Does it make the Hindu house impure?
25:21This is a strict instruction
25:23that the one who is
25:25discriminated against by colour,
25:27do not put it on him.
25:29But still, it has fallen
25:31and the administration
25:33is cleaning it up
25:35and cleaning it up again.
25:38Then why are we discriminated against by colour?
25:40This is a repetition.
25:42Should we wear colourful clothes?
25:44But if we are discriminated against
25:46by colour,
25:48it is not possible.
25:50Why is it a repetition?
25:52Many Muslims have played Holi
25:54in colour.
25:58In Sanjhapur,
26:00the Nawab's entire group
26:02goes there.
26:04We saw during the Mahakum,
26:06if someone considers himself as an Indian,
26:08the Kumbh Mela is for all Indians.
26:10And he should come.
26:12I had said that the one who comes as an Indian
26:14with faith, he is welcome.
26:16But if he comes
26:18with a negative mindset,
26:20he is not welcome.
26:22Millions of people
26:24came to the Mahakum.
26:26How did you verify
26:28the final numbers
26:30that were tallied?
26:32How many people came?
26:35Here,
26:37during the Mahakum,
26:43we set up
26:45CCTV cameras.
26:49We used
26:51an AI tool
26:53to do head counting.
26:55We also arranged
26:57that
26:59one person's face
27:01should not be counted again.
27:03In 24 hours,
27:05a person may take a bath
27:072-3 times.
27:09Many people
27:11took a bath
27:132-3 times in 24 hours.
27:15But the count should be done
27:17once.
27:19We also set up
27:21face recognition
27:23and head counting.
27:25After 24 hours,
27:27the final data
27:29was prepared.
27:32For that,
27:34we set up
27:36an integrated center
27:38through which
27:40everything was monitored.
27:42We are doing all these
27:44countings there.
27:46More than 6.6 million people
27:48took a bath
27:50in these 45 days.
27:52This became
27:54a big news story
27:56internationally.
27:58Even if Europe is included,
28:00there are not as many people
28:02as there were for Kumbh.
28:04Only those who have been to Kumbh
28:06can say about Kumbh
28:08and its vastness.
28:10For others,
28:12it will seem unbelievable.
28:14For example,
28:16during the Mahabharata war,
28:18when God showed
28:20His vastness,
28:24only three people
28:26were able to see
28:29Arjuna,
28:31Sanjay,
28:33and Ved Vyas.
28:37These three people
28:39recognized God's form
28:41and that is why Sanjay told Dhritarashtra
28:43to remember God.
28:47After seeing God's form,
28:49I can say that
28:51where there is Shri Krishna,
28:53there is victory.
28:55Because there is truth and religion.
28:57Only those who have been to Kumbh
28:59can say about Kumbh.
29:01Congress and other opposition parties
29:03have been to Kumbh many times.
29:05Is it true that
29:07Kumbh is vast?
29:09See,
29:11the way you see the world,
29:13it is not forced.
29:15We did not force you to come.
29:17Many politicians came to Kumbh.
29:19Many ministers
29:21and deputies
29:23came to Kumbh.
29:26Many people came to Kumbh.
29:28Even Congress chief ministers
29:30came to Kumbh.
29:34They made it a BJP event.
29:36BJP is not a BJP event.
29:38BJP is an established government.
29:40Central and state governments
29:42are taking care of public facilities,
29:44public welfare,
29:46and giving respect to faith.
29:48And this form of Kumbh
29:50that we have seen,
29:52from 1947 to
29:542014,
29:56has been
29:58ruled by Congress.
30:02Why didn't they do it during this time?
30:04They had many opportunities.
30:06Even in the state,
30:08from 1947 to
30:121989,
30:16Congress government was in power.
30:18Why didn't they take care of public facilities?
30:21Why didn't they present
30:23the vast form of Kumbh
30:25and the universal form of Kumbh?
30:29If there is a positive
30:31feeling about Kumbh
30:33in the country
30:35and it is accepted by the world,
30:37it is possible because of Modi ji.
30:39Prime Minister Modi ji
30:41in 2019,
30:43made Kumbh a cultural heritage
30:45of humanity.
30:47He advanced the process
30:49of inviting all the missions
30:51of the world to Prayagraj.
30:53He did the work
30:55of connecting the Indians
30:57from all over the world
30:59with the Kumbh.
31:01In 2019,
31:03the Kumbh was organized
31:05in Varanasi.
31:07And with these organizations,
31:09the act of connecting
31:11people from all over the world
31:13was done with Prime Minister Modi ji.
31:16Kumbh means
31:18divinity,
31:20cleanliness, security,
31:22and self-management.
31:24We should learn to respect
31:26the public facilities
31:28and their beliefs.
31:30The vision given by Modi ji
31:32is now visible on the ground.
31:34So, the public
31:36took it in their hands
31:38and spread it all over the world.
31:40The incident that took place
31:42during Mahakumbh,
31:44can you tell us about it?
31:46It is a Judicial Commission.
31:48The Supreme Court
31:50and the Supreme Court
31:52have given directions
31:54and they are working on it.
31:56We gave them a month's time
31:58and the Supreme Court
32:00gave them a month's time
32:02and they have added
32:04new things to it.
32:06They are working on it
32:08with all the facts
32:10that the state government
32:13has given them.
32:15They are working on it
32:17and they are talking
32:19to all the parties
32:21and collecting statements
32:23from all the parties.
32:25They will report
32:27the findings
32:29and then we will take
32:31further action.
32:43Speculations over an AIADMK-BJP alliance
32:45ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu elections
32:47is definitely generating
32:49a lot of buzz
32:51in the political world.
32:53This after AIADMK General Secretary
32:55Edapadi Palanswamy met
32:57Union Home Minister Amit Shah
32:59in Delhi, sparking speculation
33:01about a possible revival
33:03of ties between the former allies.
33:05In a direct jibe at Stalin-led Tamil Nadu government,
33:07Home Minister Shah,
33:09while speaking in Parliament,
33:11vowed to end corruption in Tamil Nadu
33:13after NDAs voted to power
33:15in 2026.
33:17Earlier, EPS had vowed to
33:19defeat the DMK, claiming it's their only
33:21enemy. The potential
33:23BJP-AIADMK tie-up
33:25would mark a significant political
33:27move in the state of Tamil Nadu,
33:29which is majorly dominated by regional
33:31players.
