00:00More news coming in, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis condemns comic Kamra, comedian
00:12Kunal Kamra has been criticised by Devendra Fadnavis who says won't tolerate Kamra insulting
00:17Shinde.
00:18Voters decided who is Gaddar, says Kamra doing Samvidhan drama like Rahul.
00:23Kamra abused free speech and must apologise, says Devendra Fadnavis, supporting his colleague
00:28within the government, his deputy, Eknath Shinde.
01:58I am going straight across to Dipesh for more details on that story.
02:09Dipesh at this point in time statement there from Devendra Fadnavis supporting his deputy
02:14in the government but interesting that Ajit Pawar, another deputy says that listen vandalism
02:20isn't allowed, he is not spoken out in support of Eknath Shinde, other than that he is actually
02:25criticised the vandalism that was seen at their habitat.
02:35The most important thing in this statement of Ajit Pawar and as well as Devendra Fadnavis
02:40we have to see that they both have condemned the remark which was made by the Kunal Kamra
02:46on Eknath Shinde and NCP Ajit Pawar as well.
02:51But on the other hand Devendra Fadnavis openly said that even though he has not supported
02:56the vandalism or he has avoided to speak on vandalism which was done to the habitat studio,
03:03Devendra Fadnavis said that anybody can comment on them but there should be a limit and there
03:09should be certain responsibilities while commenting on the others.
03:12Also the derogatory statement which was made by the Kunal Kamra on the Eknath Shinde cannot
03:17be considered as freedom of speech and the person who is responsible should be punished
03:23according to the law, this is the word which was used by Devendra Fadnavis whereas on the
03:27other side Ajit Pawar specifically said that he not commented on anything on vandalism
03:33but he said that the Kunal Kamra statement was not right and everybody should be responsible
03:40for what they say and they should be held accountable for what they say.
03:43So yeah definitely there are certain discrepancies which we see in both the statements of the
03:51CM as well as the DCM but they both are supporting in a kind of to the Eknath Shinde and they
03:56are condemning, they are raising the oppose to the Kunal Kamra as well, the statement
04:02which was made by the Kunal Kamra.
