00:02Thank you, Mr. President.
00:04You know better than anyone, having just won election to this body,
00:09that Americans elected Republicans all across the country to get our country back on track.
00:14That's what this last election was about, and Republicans are keeping our promises.
00:20Today, more Americans say our country is on the right track than they've said for the last 20 years.
00:28And that's because President Trump's and Republicans' common-sense revolution is working.
00:34By contrast, what we see with the Democrats, they have abandoned all common sense.
00:39And the American people are resounding them. Amazing numbers.
00:44According to a recent poll, CNN did a poll. They're no friends of Republicans.
00:49What did they say? They said only 29% of the American people view the Democrat Party favorably.
00:55Even worse, according to the recent NBC poll, only 27% of Americans had a positive view of the Democrats.
01:04The Democrat approval rating is at its all-time low in the history of polling in this country.
01:11Why is that? Well, let me tell you.
01:14It's because Democrats in this body in the Senate are taking positions and continuing to take positions that are truly radical.
01:23Democrats in this body support people who support terrorism.
01:29That's who they side with. They refuse to protect women in sports.
01:3380% of Americans say we need to protect women and girls in sports against biologic men.
01:39Democrats refuse to stand with Israel.
01:42Democrats, through their votes, are trying to support higher energy prices, not lower energy prices.
01:48It was inflation which cost them the election, the open borders and the high prices of the last administration.
01:54Democrats are refusing to protect taxpayers.
01:58In terms of specific wasteful Washington spending that we've been seeing,
02:03Democrats are refusing to allow us to remove some of this wasteful Washington spending.
02:08They want Americans to pay higher taxes.
02:11$4 trillion in increased taxes is what they're hoping for by the end of this year.
02:16Now, the minority leader who just spoke, he appeared last week on a television show on ABC called The View.
02:22What did he do? He spent his time attacking not the abuses against America,
02:29but against hard-working and successful American families.
02:33People who just want to keep more of their hard-earned money.
02:37People don't want to see the government wasted, frittered away, as we've seen from these examples and lists
02:42of money being spent in ways that you just wouldn't even think would make sense to anyone.
02:47The minority leader had nothing good to say about the innovators or the job creators,
02:53the hard-working Americans who make this country great.
02:56Over the last four years, the four years of the last administration,
03:00wasteful spending caused the worst inflation in 40 years.
03:04Democrats raised our taxes, they took our money, and they spent it recklessly.
03:10And today, Democrats are pulling out all the stops to block our bold Republican agenda.
03:15This is an agenda that the American people support.
03:18So how do they do it? They don't have the votes in the House, they don't have the votes in the Senate,
03:22and they don't have the White House.
03:24So how can Democrats and their radical views be reflected in what's happening in this country?
03:29Well, you know, Mr. President, they are doing it through radical district court judges.
03:37That's what the American people are hearing about today in the news,
03:41radical district court judges who oppose President Trump, oppose his agenda.
03:48So how many district court judges are there in the country?
03:52Well, the number is 677.
03:55That's how many there are in the United States.
03:58And last week, one of them, one of the 677,
04:03just one of them at the district court level ordered a nationwide ban
04:08to stop deportation of illegal immigrant gang members.
04:11This is wrong.
04:13One district court judge in one district court out of 677 of these district judges
04:21saying stop for the entire country.
04:25Well, these gang members, these illegal immigrants, they are part of a criminal group.
04:31And it's a criminal group designated by President Trump as terrorists.
04:35They're murderers, they're rapists, they're drug dealers.
04:38They threaten the safety and security of every American community.
04:43Last month alone, there were 15 nationwide injunctions issued against the Trump administration by who?
04:50By activist district judges.
04:53From Washington, D.C. to Seattle,
04:56these activist district judges think they know better than the American people.
05:03Their radical order blocks signature pillars of our Republican agenda,
05:07the agenda that the American people voted for in November.
05:12These radical activist judges are protecting criminals, they're protecting terrorists,
05:16and they are after people that we know we need out of the country.
05:22They want to keep them here.
05:24They're against accountability, clearly an effort by the Democrats and their activist judges
05:31to try to undo the will of the voters.
05:34Let me be very clear.
05:36When partisan, unelected district court judges try to micromanage the President of the United States,
05:42that's not judicial review.
05:44It isn't checks and balances.
05:47It is purely partisan politics, and it's wrong.
05:53Radical district judges are not going to succeed in blocking Republicans from getting this nation back on track.
06:00I applaud President Trump.
06:02He's fighting to uphold the rule of law.
06:04He's appealing these bad rulings.
06:07He's representing the values of the American people.
06:10So let me go back to where I began.
06:13Last week, NBC reported Democrats are at the lowest level of support in the history of polling.
06:22At the same time, more Americans say that our country is on the right track than they have in the last 20 years.
06:30The Republican agenda for America continues to be popular.
06:35Americans want to escape the last four years of high prices and open borders.
06:40Republicans' shared agenda will deliver safer communities, secure borders, affordable prices, and peace through strength.
06:51Republicans are committed, Mr. President, to getting America back on track.
