00:00You are Sort Your Life Out record breakers.
00:03What?
00:04You have 6,568 items of clothing.
00:09Did I get a trophy?
00:11We all have way too much stuff
00:13cluttering our homes and our lives.
00:16Oh, my God.
00:17What?
00:18I am king of the clutter, look at me.
00:20But we're on a mission to sort your life out...
00:23Argh!
00:24..by completely stripping jam-packed houses...
00:27Stop leaving boxes at the front door!
00:29..and displaying every single thing in a giant warehouse.
00:33Whoa!
00:34I can't believe it.
00:35Could you let go of half?
00:37Is it really hard for you?
00:38It's just a train set. I just...
00:40I'm absolutely getting the hang of these.
00:42I can cry.
00:43..to bring joy back into your home.
00:45Oh!
00:46Oh!
00:47It's heaven.
00:48That's so cool.
00:52Oh, I'm so happy.
00:54We done it?
01:00Your nails are nice, aren't they, for a carpenter?
01:04Well, the only reason they look like that is cos I chew them off.
01:08Looks like you're not working hard enough, to be honest.
01:13This week, I'm meeting the whole gang in East London,
01:16my neck of the woods, to help a family struggling with clutter.
01:21I'm so happy we're in East London.
01:24Yes, me too.
01:25Back to my hometown.
01:27I am ready, I am pumped.
01:29Oh, I cannot wait to get stuck in.
01:33Phew!
01:34I did not realise it was going to be this hilly.
01:38Let's go!
01:41Good morning!
01:47Oh, where were you, Dil?
01:50Well, some of us cycle.
01:53So, this is Dee and Aaron's house.
01:56They live here with their two children.
01:58This was their first house that they bought together.
02:01It was their forever home, and right now the house is driving them mad.
02:05They are not in love with it.
02:07So we need to get them to fall back in love with it.
02:09Exactly.
02:10Especially now, because Dee is on maternity,
02:12but she's soon going back to work,
02:14so we need to restore some peace and order in this house.
02:17All right. Ready for this.
02:18Shall we see what we're working with?
02:20Yeah, come on.
02:22Oh, children definitely live here.
02:25Buggies and scooters everywhere.
02:27In this family home, there's a living room,
02:30a kitchen and three bedrooms,
02:33all on the verge of chaos.
02:37Oh, living room.
02:38Well, this isn't too bad, is it?
02:40We can walk around it.
02:42Is that a bit of an office corner?
02:43Well, this is it.
02:44There's a lot going on on this desk.
02:46There's no space.
02:47Either way, it's impractical, isn't it?
02:49If you're working from home and you have got the kids here,
02:51yes, you need to be in a space where it's dual,
02:53but there's no zoning around all of the toys,
02:55so all the toys are out the whole time.
02:57That's just chaotic.
02:59Oh, look, this doesn't open, because...
03:01There's a big speaker.
03:03I mean, they obviously like their music,
03:04because there's five speakers in this room.
03:06And a lot of CDs.
03:08Oh, what have we got here?
03:09Can you reach that, mate?
03:10Yeah.
03:11What is it?
03:12Oh, DJ decks.
03:13Oh, my God, look.
03:14Ewan, something for you.
03:16What is that?
03:17I don't know.
03:18Seagull's been in here.
03:20Is it pain?
03:21It's pain.
03:22Oh, that would be a bit of fun for me.
03:24This isn't the worst experience with clutter that we've ever seen.
03:27The worst thing about this room
03:29is the fact that there is nowhere to put anything.
03:32Let's just split up and see what the rest of the house is saying,
03:34and then we can think about how we're going to do this.
03:36All right, who's going where?
03:38Me and Ewan, shall we go upstairs?
03:39Yeah.
03:40Why don't you two look at the kitchen?
03:42We'll go upstairs.
03:45Yeah, man.
03:47In the kitchen.
03:49They're obviously a big family of readers
03:51because there's piles of books everywhere.
03:54It's just trying to make sure that everything has a place.
03:57Let's have a look what else...
03:59Under the stairs, Rob.
04:01What is in there?
04:02Whoa!
04:04What is this?
04:05Oh, yeah, a train track.
04:07Well, no-one's playing with it cos it's shoved under the stairs.
04:10Upstairs, Ewan and I have our fingers crossed
04:13for a little less chaos.
04:15Ah, this must be Mum and Dad's room.
04:17Yeah.
04:18A cot.
04:19There's another one here, Stace.
04:21Oh, yeah.
04:22Two cots.
04:24This must be Dad's stuff.
04:25There's some system in here.
04:27OK, it's getting worse, it's declining as we go along.
04:30It's just on the verge of becoming that next level of cluttered.
04:34I feel like we're intervening at a really good time, Ewan.
04:37Yeah.
04:38Let's have a look.
04:39That is a lot of filing.
04:42Who needs this many nail files?
04:44I wonder if some of this is even being used, Stace,
04:46cos there's no mirror here.
04:47She must have to move the cot out of the way.
04:49Yeah.
04:50Move all the books, bring her make-up that she can get a hold of
04:53over to this side.
04:54Yeah, just sit on the edge of the bed.
04:56What is this?
04:57These are clothes.
04:58Oh, no, teddies.
04:59Toys!
05:00I think we could use them as, like, therapy teddies.
05:03If there's anything you've ever wanted to say...
05:05Oh.
05:06..use your teddy to say it.
05:09Sometimes when we're trying to put the house back together
05:11and things are really manic and busy,
05:13maybe it's not the best time to start doing things
05:16like sticking seashells onto picture frames.
05:20In the spare room, Rob and Zilly are back in familiar territory.
05:24Oh, maybe downstairs was a bit deceiving, Rob.
05:28OK, yeah.
05:29What we do have is a desk.
05:31Oh!
05:32So there is an office.
05:33I'm thinking that maybe one works up here and one works down there.
05:37Well, how can you work up here?
05:38We just about got inside this room.
05:40I mean, this isn't typical,
05:42I'm on a Zoom and my background's blurred, isn't it?
05:45What's in here?
05:46There's, like, bags, shoes.
05:48Look, more toys.
05:50There's some good places they've been.
05:52They've got some good concert tickets here.
05:55We need to give them a better place to keep their memories...
05:57Yes, we do.
05:58..than just a random envelope in a random drawer.
06:00Oh, do you know what I mean?
06:01Photos, isn't it?
06:02And a lot of them do.
06:04Happy mummy and happy baby.
06:05Look at that little face.
06:07They've got some beautiful family photos
06:09and not one of them are on the wall.
06:12Z is for Zora.
06:14That is a pretty big bed for a four-year-old.
06:17It's huge!
06:18Oh!
06:19That is an iron mark if ever I've seen one.
06:21Oh!
06:22Look at the drawers.
06:23There's no way she's getting into this every day.
06:26Look, brand-new clothes in the packet.
06:30Oh.
06:31Oh, God.
06:32Whoa, look out.
06:33Well, how else does she get her toys out?
06:36Oh, she's got all these cute little figures.
06:39Little dolly bits.
06:40More Doll's House stuff?
06:41Yeah.
06:42But no Doll's House.
06:43Oh.
06:44Oh!
06:45Is that a shed?
06:46Yeah, it's a bit...
06:48..flimsy.
06:49Oh, you and this creeping me out.
06:51There's all this storage in here,
06:53but obviously you can't use it cos...
06:55Look!
06:56There's a big hole in the roof.
06:58Oh!
06:59There's gobblers everywhere.
07:00Where have you gone?
07:01I feel all itchy now.
07:03Yeah!
07:06Oh!
07:07It's coming down out here.
07:08Isn't it, Josh?
07:09Oh, it's warming the house.
07:10The biggest problem for me here
07:12is that I feel that the clutter is on the brink.
07:15Right now, it's turning into a nightmare.
07:17Yeah.
07:18I think so many families are in the situation
07:20where you only have two rooms downstairs,
07:22which means those rooms have to cater for so many different things.
07:25So if you don't zone it, section it and organise it properly,
07:29that's when this happens.
07:30Yeah, they're not going to function.
07:32Yay!
07:34Hi!
07:35Hi!
07:36How you doing?
07:37Nice to meet you.
07:39I'm going to say this.
07:41I feel that we've come just in the nick of time.
07:44Yeah!
07:49Oh!
07:50He's got a hold.
07:52Muah!
07:53Dee and Aaron met 17 years ago at university.
07:56I just kept bumping into you.
07:58There was one...
07:59There was a weekend where...
08:00I think I saw you, like, three different nights.
08:03That was not an accident. Like, I kind of made that happen.
08:07They got married, and four years ago, Zora was born.
08:10Zora Whedon!
08:12Next, the couple secured their dream home.
08:15Getting on a property ladder,
08:17it just felt like such an impossible task.
08:20From the age of 22,
08:22I was doing 12-hour shifts,
08:24working sometimes seven days a week,
08:26and I did that for, like, so many years.
08:28So to finally, like, get a place
08:30and have something that I can help, like, raise my family in,
08:34it's a lot of blood, sweat and tears.
08:36Aaron and Dee are juggling a busy family and working life.
08:41We've been working full-time since the kids were babies.
08:45I'm studying clinical psychology.
08:47There is something about me that wants to care and nurture others.
08:51Trying to balance getting the house the way that you want it,
08:54being a parent, studying, supporting your family,
08:57it's been really tough at times.
08:59And a lack of systems hasn't made things easier.
09:03I put something somewhere in a room,
09:05and then I don't know where it is, and then I ask you,
09:07where is it, and then you don't know where you put it.
09:09And I don't know where I've put it. I don't have no place,
09:11I don't have no systems.
09:12If things will just go anywhere, just anywhere I can make it fit,
09:15it will go.
09:16A year and a half after moving in...
09:18Where are you going?
09:20We had our second child, our son,
09:22and he was born in our bathroom floor.
09:24Following that, my wife also had quite a tricky recovery from the birth.
09:30The arrival of baby Elias meant that D was unexpectedly bedridden
09:34and life had to be put on hold.
09:37I didn't envision that the recovery of the birth would be so difficult,
09:41that it would take, I guess, six months, six, seven months,
09:44for me to get up.
09:46True.
09:47I couldn't move.
09:48There was some mum guilt there about I can't do all the things
09:52that I want to do with Zora, and even with Elias, I'm not as mobile.
09:56Oh, he likes those kisses from his sister.
09:58With D on her way to recovery, finally thoughts returned to the house.
10:02We really wanted this picture-perfect home,
10:05and the reality is that I haven't been able to do anything,
10:08like the house has got even more out of control.
10:12Is it OK if I don't know, if I can't find it?
10:15Zora, do you know where it is?
10:17You're working so many hours,
10:19and I'm going back to studying and working.
10:22Zora starts school in a week.
10:24It does feel like it's now or never for us.
10:26We really need assistance and help,
10:28just survive, thrive a bit more with the scenario when.
10:32What we usually say is,
10:34you have to let go of up to 50% of what's in the house
10:38to be able to make your home work for you.
10:41How do you feel about that?
10:43Well, Elias doesn't like that.
10:45LAUGHTER
10:47I'm scared, but I'm willing to give it a really good go.
10:50Like, we need this, so... Yeah.
10:52Good. So, shall we get inside and start packing up?
10:55Let's do it. Let's go. Yes.
10:57But first, can I just have one cuddle?
11:00You've been dying for that, haven't you, sis?
11:03Oh, yeah.
11:05Right, let's go inside before I steal your baby.
11:13This is our new house.
11:17We've got just nine hours
11:19to get this three-bedroom family home packed up.
11:22All right, let's go upstairs and pack some boxes.
11:25Oh, my gosh, do you know what? It's so funny,
11:27cos I'm only a few months out of it,
11:29but all of the sterilising and all the bottle stuff...
11:32It's a pain. It'll be OK.
11:35Is this your dream house?
11:37Yeah, I'd say it was our dream house.
11:39We got to know a lot of people in the area.
11:41They remind me a lot of the home that I lived in
11:43when I grew up with my parents.
11:45What was home like with your parents?
11:47The home itself was a bit more regimented.
11:51Like, my pops was in the army,
11:53so I think it was just a bit more of a stricter household.
11:57My father was a stickler for a speck of dust somewhere.
12:01If we said we'd clean somewhere, we really did it.
12:04When it comes to my kids, I want them to just be a bit more free,
12:07and so I think that's really played into
12:10how I look at fatherhood for them.
12:13My dad was super strict.
12:15So you'll either be just like them,
12:17or you go the complete opposite way.
12:19One thing that I really wanted for myself and for my kids
12:22is for this to be quite a hosting home.
12:25Was it not like that at your family home?
12:27No, no, we didn't really have people over.
12:29The downside of me not having things the way that it was
12:32when I grew up is the house is in quite a bit of chaos,
12:35which is not a good thing, which is not actually what I want.
12:38Where did you get your inspiration from when you were decorating?
12:41We're all over social media, so immediately you're sort of like,
12:44oh, that's quite nice, that looks cool, I want that.
12:47But those aren't lived in.
12:49That corner is really beautiful and aesthetic,
12:51but behind you there is chaos.
12:53Yeah, maybe they don't have kids that like to bring toys from every room.
12:58But it's fine to have all those toys.
13:00I think what you've got to think about is
13:02where are they going at the end of the day?
13:04What things can we put in place to stop it
13:06from becoming a real overwhelming mess?
13:08If that isn't a reason to sort your life out, I don't know what is.
13:13Look, pour it in there.
13:15Straight in there. Give me a hand.
13:17You can do it, all right? I'll leave you to do it.
13:19You've got the muscle.
13:21Why don't you start over there with the CDs in that area?
13:24OK.
13:25Next door, Dilly and Dee delve into the living room.
13:29Who was in charge of designing the house?
13:31Well, it was a joint effort.
13:33I think in my mind, I thought,
13:35this is how this is going to work.
13:37This is going to go here, my desk will go here.
13:40But then when it comes to actually sitting down and working,
13:43it doesn't work.
13:45I have to be pulling things out, moving things around.
13:48I really struggle with losing things in the house.
13:51OK. So that's a big, big problem.
13:53I've been known to lose a phone in the house for a year.
13:56Oh, really? Yes.
13:58So I was diagnosed with dyslexia in third year of university.
14:02What I've got in my mind, it doesn't translate into, like, action.
14:06You know, I really try and think about, OK,
14:08this shelf will be for eggs and down here will be for bread.
14:11But when it comes to actually doing it,
14:14something, like, I don't know, wires get crossed in my mind
14:17and it can mean that the house just becomes complete chaos.
14:23Ah! I haven't seen this in how many months?
14:27Big swipe. Let's start taking some boxes down, OK?
14:31Look how big my muscles are.
14:33Oh, my gosh. I can carry that one. Yes, you can.
14:36You are doing so great.
14:38Did you leave that all over our stairs?
14:41Dora's not happy with the state of the stairs.
14:44Now I have to wash it again.
14:47Oh, wow.
14:49There's dirt on the stairs. Yeah, I'll clean those.
14:52There's a lot to do. Yeah, there is a lot to do.
14:55Move this box out cos we've done, but we need to pick up the pace
14:58cos we don't have much time left.
15:00All right, let's go.
15:02With just an hour left, everyone's pulling out all the stops.
15:06I do feel like we're a little step ahead with this house,
15:09but we also can't rest back.
15:11We've still got loads to pack up, so we've just got to keep on it.
15:14Mummy, I've got this stuff!
15:16Oh, she's putting all her paperwork together.
15:18Please, super safe.
15:20That is actually, like, my favourite drawing she's ever done.
15:23Finally.
15:26I've got it. You've got that? Yeah. That's heavy.
15:29It's been a hard nine hours, but the Knowles family house is finally clear.
15:33Wow!
15:35And after an intense day of packing over...
15:37Bye, Van.
15:39..all the family's possessions are on their way to the warehouse.
15:42Wow. Wow.
15:44Everything's gone. TV and everything off the wall, boy.
15:47Wow. Wow.
15:49Wow.
15:58Over the next 48 hours,
16:00the family will have to go through every single one of their possessions,
16:04which have been laid out in a 12,000-square-foot warehouse.
16:08Zora, are you looking forward to seeing your...
16:11Bed!
16:13Trousers! Trousers!
16:16We can do this. We've got this.
16:18I'm starting to feel more and more nervous and less sure.
16:21Oh, boy, shake it off.
16:24Oh, my gosh! It's happening now!
16:26Oh, there's Stacey! Look, there's Stacey!
16:29Oh, my gosh!
16:31So nervous!
16:33Hi, Zora! Hi!
16:35Aw, hiya.
16:37You all right? I'm all right. How are you?
16:39I'm good.
16:41Z, why are you nervous? Oh, just seeing everything.
16:43Oh, gosh, yeah. I just...
16:45Yeah, very emotional.
16:47Two, one.
16:49Are you ready? I'm ready. Let's do it.
16:51Let's go inside. Let's go, let's go.
16:55Oh, my gosh. It's about to open.
16:59Oh, gosh. OK.
17:01Ah!
17:05Oh!
17:07All of this was in our house?
17:09Oh, my gosh!
17:13Oh, my gosh.
17:19Welcome to your house.
17:21All of this was in our house?
17:23That's right.
17:25Now, this is a bit insane.
17:27Wow!
17:29Out of 350 boxes
17:31unpacked from the Noel family home,
17:33we counted...
17:3549 makeup brushes,
17:37213 CDs
17:39and
17:41552 books.
17:45First thoughts and feelings, Aaron?
17:47Can't believe all of this
17:49was inside our home.
17:51I'm shocked.
17:53It's very overwhelming.
17:55I didn't realise we had so much stuff.
17:57This is at a point
17:59where, yes, I do feel like very quickly
18:01it could escalate, but I feel like
18:03we are going to nip it in the bud right here, right now.
18:05I think the best starting point
18:07is to aim for letting go of 50%
18:09of everything in your house.
18:11So, shall we take Zora
18:13and you guys straight to toys?
18:15Shall we go to the toy section, Zora?
18:17Toy section.
18:19Yeah, let's go.
18:21With a huge day ahead, the family now need
18:23to decide what to keep
18:25and what to donate, recycle
18:27or sell.
18:29Is there anything here
18:31that we can straightaway go to
18:33and, you know,
18:35like, massive items like this train set?
18:37Let me see if Zora would be willing.
18:39Zora, can I ask you about your train?
18:41I would love to help.
18:43Are you finished with this train?
18:45Shall we say bye to this toy?
18:47Bye.
18:49Interesting.
18:51That was great, Zora.
18:53Zora's had no problems
18:55letting go, but will Aaron and D
18:57find it as easy?
18:59This one I have no emotional attachment
19:01to.
19:03I got it for £15. You can't go wrong.
19:05Unless your child doesn't play with it
19:07and it stays under the stairs.
19:09It's under the stairs because we haven't had a place for it, you know.
19:11We didn't have a place for that
19:13train set and we got rid of it.
19:15Yeah. Is it really hard
19:17for you? Yeah, I don't know why.
19:19It's just a train set.
19:21It's so wild.
19:23Bear with me. I'm going to put this baby
19:25to bed
19:27and carry on the discussion.
19:29D,
19:31why do you feel like this
19:33train set is of better use
19:35to you at home than the other one?
19:37What if Elias likes it?
19:39I just feel like every kid should have
19:41a train set.
19:43Where's that come from? I don't know.
19:45Did you have a train set?
19:47No, I didn't.
19:49I never really had a lot of toys between
19:51I'd say the ages maybe
19:53two and nine.
19:55Me and my great-grandmother, we shared a room,
19:57shared a bed,
19:59so there wasn't that much space.
20:01Wow, so your great-grandma looked
20:03after you? Yeah. What a woman.
20:05Yeah, she was amazing.
20:07My mum, she's
20:09always worked full-time and she really
20:11struggled to find childcare
20:13so things were difficult.
20:15It was lovely in a way to be with my great-grandparent.
20:17She did the best with what she had
20:19but I think because I didn't have that many
20:21things as a child, I feel like I
20:23probably hang on to things that I maybe should get
20:25rid of. Do you ever feel like
20:27you're overcompensating?
20:29Sometimes I feel like I do. I feel like
20:31I try and
20:33juggle so much
20:35to try and give the kids
20:37the perfect childhood.
20:39What is the perfect childhood?
20:41Please let me know because I've got five of them to raise
20:43and I haven't got a clue.
20:45But all I do know is
20:47toys
20:49and stuff will never replace
20:51time with you. Definitely.
20:53If this is taking
20:55over your house right now, it's
20:57actually robbing you of time. Yeah.
20:59It's not giving you good memories. No.
21:01I don't think you'll ever use this amount of
21:03track. Oh, definitely. So maybe we can
21:05let go of some of the track. Yes.
21:07Alright, 50%. Let's go.
21:09I'm happy with that. I'm proud of you.
21:11Let's go.
21:15Do we need two xylophones?
21:17No.
21:19You pick your favourites for Elias
21:21and I will literally just
21:23swipe the rest. Okay. You've got this, Dee.
21:25Okay. I think that Dee's just worried
21:27that Zora won't have
21:29fond memories, but it is
21:31impacting her decisions and stopping her from
21:33really detaching herself
21:35from the physical thing and working
21:37out what is making
21:39their family happy and what isn't.
21:47Shh. There's a baby sleeping
21:49over here.
21:53Yay.
21:55That
21:57is an epic start.
21:59Well done.
22:01Come on, team.
22:03Oh my gosh.
22:07This is like a beautiful
22:09blank canvas. Yeah. Beautiful blank canvas.
22:11Literally everywhere in this home is
22:13painted white. Back at base,
22:15Rob, Dilly and Ewan are working on a design
22:17that delivers storage and extra
22:19workspace in the living room.
22:21What I want to do is create a hidden office.
22:23I'm going to make it look
22:25like it's a set of drawers.
22:27Oh, I love this.
22:29Okay. But
22:31this section here at the centre
22:33is actually going to be
22:35a stool. Amazing.
22:37And then you're actually able to open
22:39it up and there's storage inside it.
22:41So when you walk into the room, it's still going to
22:43feel like a lovely living room.
22:45Sounds really good.
22:47And Rob and Ewan have a plan to give the
22:49couple a peaceful work area away
22:51from the house.
22:53What on earth are you doing?
22:55We have got an idea for you, Dills.
22:57You're going to love this. Oh, you're going to love this idea.
22:59We're going to take this down
23:01and then replace it with a new
23:03shed. Not just a shed,
23:05an outdoor office.
23:07Aha. Do you think you're going to be able to
23:09do this in the time we've got, though?
23:11We're going to have to. We're going to crack on, Dills.
23:13We've got our hard hats at the ready.
23:15Hard hats.
23:19Oh, yes!
23:21This is so satisfying.
23:25That is what we are talking about, Dilly.
23:31Watch this.
23:33Train driver.
23:37Going to Northern Ireland.
23:39Oh, fantastic.
23:41I've always wanted to go there.
23:43Dee's made some tough
23:45decisions with toys, but can
23:47Aaron do the same with his prized possessions?
23:49Straight to the CD.
23:51Oh, boy.
23:53I feel like I call for Aaron in this section.
23:55Let's just get into the barrows,
23:57what isn't coming home with us, and blitz it.
23:59Okay. Cool.
24:01Alright, let's do it.
24:03Are you interested
24:05in this? No.
24:07Okay, that can go.
24:09It's really important to you both.
24:11Yeah, we love going to concerts. We haven't for a long time.
24:13I haven't seen this
24:15since 2012. I paid £12
24:17to see John Legend in 2004.
24:19Wow! Do you know what I mean? £10.
24:21Can I ask, why have you got these?
24:23I literally was thinking, what is with the travel cards?
24:25Yeah, what is with the travel cards?
24:27Is it to look at the inflation of trains
24:29through the years?
24:31Stacey, I don't know,
24:33I'll be honest. Do you know, all I'm getting
24:35from this is that you two need to go out.
24:37We just need a babysitter.
24:41Who's are these?
24:43Those are mine.
24:45So do you DJ?
24:47I don't.
24:49I really wanted to learn how
24:51to DJ. We did one practice,
24:53we was on it all night, it was so much fun.
24:55And then we just never took it out again.
24:57Aaron, I am ready to let go
24:59of it and sell it.
25:01Okay.
25:03Aaron is not.
25:07Do you know what,
25:09I don't know how to DJ, but I've always wanted to.
25:11Are you going to use it?
25:15No.
25:17Why not though, can I ask?
25:19Yeah, why not?
25:21If you really want to do this,
25:25if both of you would quite enjoy
25:27doing this as a hobby,
25:29that's a great thing to keep around,
25:31to give you the incentive to do it,
25:33to use it, to enjoy it together.
25:35I actually feel excited now.
25:37Yay, that's what we like.
25:39It's a rare day in the warehouse
25:41when I encourage keeping rather than letting go.
25:43But when it comes to having fun together,
25:45I'm willing to break the rules.
25:47Are we going to take the speakers to the pile?
25:49Let's go before I change my mind.
25:51Aaron, you smashed it.
25:53I'm regretting this already.
26:01At the house, you and our cleaning guru
26:03have come up with a cracker.
26:05It's the classic, the iron's still hot,
26:07it's got knocked over,
26:09it's ended up burning a mark in the carpet.
26:11I'm just using some sandpaper,
26:13go for the coarsest one that you can find,
26:15and then you're just going to scrub away
26:17at the burn mark with this.
26:19I've also got
26:21my carpet scraper.
26:23You could even use a strong comb.
26:29Give it a little vacuum
26:31to bring the carpet pile back up
26:33and that will really help blend it in.
26:35Look at the difference though.
26:37That's not like whopping great burn mark
26:39in the carpet anymore.
26:41Hard at work, Rob's installing the bookshelf
26:43for the hidden library.
26:45This is the first part.
26:47I've now got the return section to do,
26:49so more shelves to make.
26:53Zora, am I going to donate,
26:55sell or recycle you?
26:57Recycle me.
26:59You are such a cool girl.
27:01You really, really, really do care
27:03about the environment.
27:07I like it.
27:09At the warehouse,
27:11two sections have been completed.
27:13I've got my fingers crossed for the third.
27:15552 of the family's beloved books.
27:17So let's start with duplicates then.
27:19Some of these are work ones
27:21that I always have to come back to.
27:23Oh, okay.
27:25I can probably just keep one of them.
27:27Do you enjoy studying?
27:29I do. I love what I do.
27:31Everyone has got a story
27:33and they've all had difficult
27:35I guess events and times
27:37in their life and if I can
27:39relieve some of that distress
27:41for other people, give people tools
27:43to cope and tools
27:45to feel better, it is really important
27:47for me.
27:49I do get concerned that my studies
27:51and my work take up a lot of time.
27:53So it might mean like
27:55after she's gone to bed, that's when I start my work
27:57because I don't want that to cut
27:59into the time that we have.
28:01Do you ever sit back and go
28:03I'm doing such a good job?
28:05Not as much
28:07as I probably should do.
28:09Look how amazing your babies are.
28:11You did that.
28:13You're doing a great job.
28:15I feel like you never tell yourself that.
28:17Yeah.
28:21No, you're right.
28:23I should be a good psychologist.
28:25I think I'm too much of an empath.
28:27I'd be crying with them.
28:29I'd be like, that is just terrible.
28:35Wow, look at all the books we've got rid of.
28:37With ten minutes left
28:39before the end of the day, it's the family's
28:41last chance to let go of as much
28:43as they can.
28:45Let's just run and do the absolute most that we can
28:47to clear space.
28:49What about the giant
28:51weird caterpillar thing?
28:53Yeah, that can go.
28:55Oh Aaron, that CD thing
28:57is so big and you don't have that many CDs anymore.
28:59Can we say goodbye?
29:01Go on then.
29:07Can you get that shoe for me?
29:09This can go.
29:11It doesn't work.
29:13One more minute.
29:15Why? We're wasting time.
29:17Go, go, go.
29:21Go, go, go, go, go.
29:25I fit.
29:27I am not.
29:29All done.
29:31We're the winner.
29:33You are the winner, Zora.
29:35I'm so proud.
29:37You did such a great job.
29:39Oh, you fixed that too.
29:41That's right.
29:43I know what you're saying.
29:45Aunty Stacey, I want a cuddle.
29:47Sure, no problem.
29:49Let's go.
29:51Well done.
29:53Dee and Aaron are just the most incredible parents
29:55and I just really want to give them
29:57the best tools
29:59to move forward
30:01and to enjoy a life
30:03where they're not constantly thinking about the house
30:05and they actually get to think about each other
30:07and all the things that they love.
30:09Dim, dim, dim.
30:17It's the final day
30:19in the warehouse and the family's
30:21last chance to cut their belongings in half.
30:23This is actually surprisingly
30:25full still.
30:27Dilly's arrived and I feel disappointment
30:29in the air.
30:31There is so much more than I thought there would be.
30:33Good morning.
30:35Hiya, Dilly.
30:37I think you did very well
30:39in the sections that you did. You have got some work
30:41to do today. You know, in these situations
30:43we think, right, okay,
30:45do I love it? Do I need it?
30:47Have we got multiples of it?
30:49Probably.
30:51Let's start with the baby
30:53section.
30:55Oh my goodness.
30:57The rocker can go. Bye, rocker.
31:01Dee and Aaron are off
31:03to a flying start again today
31:05and let's hope they keep up the pace.
31:09So, do we think that
31:11Elias can move into his own room?
31:13I do. I feel like it would be good for him.
31:15How was Elias' birth?
31:17Yeah, I was planning a home birth
31:19with support of midwives
31:21but it happened very quick.
31:23I was watching TV and an hour
31:25and a half later, he was here.
31:27Oh my gosh. Aaron,
31:29how are you? Having a heart attack?
31:31I'm still in shock.
31:33You shouted, it's here!
31:35And the baby arrived, I caught him
31:37and wow, like,
31:39I just couldn't believe I had this baby
31:41in my arms and the home
31:43birth pool was still being filled up.
31:45I didn't even get to get inside of it.
31:47How did you feel after?
31:49I was in, like, a lot of pain, just everywhere
31:51after having him. I had to
31:53go and bed rest for a good few
31:55months. So physically you had to be in
31:57bed, like it was too much? Yeah.
31:59I think there's this culture of, like, bouncing back
32:01very quickly from childbirth
32:03but it's really difficult when you have another
32:05child and they've got needs and you're trying to
32:07look after them. Like, I thought that
32:09I was going to declutter the entire house,
32:11I was going to put in all these storage solutions.
32:13I haven't been able to do
32:15anything. At the moment, I do
32:17feel like we're struggling to cope
32:19with everything.
32:23You know, there's only three
32:25rails and two tables of your
32:27clothes. Yeah. Like, you two are
32:29hats off. I haven't got a huge amount of
32:31stuff at all. The children's clothes,
32:33however, like, that's a lot.
32:35Not to mention the 116
32:37baby grows. Why do you
32:39think you've had so much? Where's it all come from?
32:41I think I've been hanging on to
32:43a lot of, like, Zora's clothes just
32:45in case Elias might need it. Yeah, yeah.
32:47And then... We've missed a boat with Elias sometimes.
32:49He's gone a bit too big and then we just haven't,
32:51we just kept it. Right, let me show
32:53you my little tip for too big, too small.
32:55We're going to take these containers and put
32:57them on the top of our wardrobe. OK. So
32:59what happens is, anything you know
33:01that is too big, you throw it into here.
33:03Anything that is too small, you throw it into
33:05there. Yeah. And then as soon as the too small
33:07is too full, you just take it straight to the
33:09charity shop. Yeah. Such a good idea.
33:14Is Elias a little far? That one's OK.
33:16Yeah, yeah, yeah. He wears it, yeah?
33:18Elias wouldn't need three of these.
33:20They're all grey. So do you want to choose your favourite?
33:22You're busy.
33:24I'll come. I'll come and have a look.
33:26I'll let you come and have your final say.
33:28Aaron, do you feel like Dee
33:30is the one that makes all the decisions in the house?
33:32Do you know, it's not about making decisions.
33:34I think it's like, if I've
33:36tried to be harsh and been like, we don't need this, get rid of it.
33:38And she'd be like, no, no, we do need it.
33:40OK, we really need to
33:42speed up, so can we just split up
33:44and tackle different zones?
33:46What I'm noticing
33:48is actually that Dee
33:50is not letting Aaron make decisions
33:52because at the moment, she's slowing him down
33:54because they have to do everything together.
33:56So my game plan for these is literally
33:58divide and conquer, split them both up
34:00and then we can speed up.
34:02Get rid of these.
34:04I've been through the clothes.
34:06And I threw stuff in the thing just now.
34:12I'm going to trust him to make good decisions.
34:18Let's get rid of this.
34:20Cool.
34:22All right, high five. Let's do both hands.
34:24Let's do both hands.
34:26I mean, look at
34:28how much clearer this warehouse is.
34:30Yep. Good, that is
34:32I'm pleased with that.
34:34Back at the house,
34:36there's no rest for Rob.
34:38He's had to call in reinforcements.
34:40The structure is up.
34:42It's solid if it can carry my weight.
34:44And now I'm just going to go finish off the edges here of the felt.
34:46And then I'm going to go inside
34:48and start the real work of
34:50transforming this shed
34:52into a multifunctional
34:54office space.
35:00Who's the tap dancer?
35:02Me.
35:04Come on, show me.
35:06Shuffle, hop step, shuffle, hop step.
35:10I love it, I love it.
35:12It's a race against the clock
35:14with just over an hour left.
35:16It's on to the memory section.
35:18I mean, there are lots of lovely pictures.
35:20There are. And lots of you in here.
35:22I know, I know. Any of you, Aaron, in here at all?
35:24Like one or two, you know.
35:26Not a family photo person.
35:28It's something that my family didn't do.
35:30These are the only pictures I've seen of you.
35:32Like, my photos,
35:34they're school photos. It's not even like my parents took these.
35:36That's probably why I go overboard.
35:38Like, thousands per year,
35:40you know. He's such a
35:42dedicated father. He always
35:44has the children in the forefront of
35:46his mind and he's always
35:48prioritising them.
35:50It's something that I definitely wanted to, you know,
35:52override with our kids. Like, I don't want them having
35:54anything like only having two.
35:56They're going to have too many.
35:58There's little time left to blitz through the
36:00final sections of the warehouse.
36:02Right, guys, this is your last
36:04push. Countdown's on.
36:06Five minutes, starting now.
36:08Let's go.
36:10I'm coming up behind you.
36:12Quickly, quickly, quickly.
36:14Oh, good job.
36:16You've been through your speakers.
36:18There's no speakers left now.
36:20Oh, really? They're all over there.
36:22Aaron, you're closed. Let's go.
36:24Down to the donate.
36:26Let's go, last bit.
36:28Harder, VD, let's go.
36:30Donate, this could be used, I guess.
36:32OK.
36:34Oh, girl.
36:36Well done. Honestly, well done.
36:38After
36:40two exhausting days, the
36:42family have managed to cut their belongings
36:44by 50%.
36:46Once their house is organised, then they can
36:48start spending some more time together.
36:50Go to concerts together, tap dance,
36:52you know, all of the things that they love.
36:54Date night is back on the cards.
37:00It's an early start, and the family's
37:02pared-back belongings have been returned to the house.
37:04Morning.
37:06Morning. Morning.
37:08Morning.
37:10And with only one day before the family
37:12returns, there's no time to
37:14waste. I think we really, really,
37:16really need to focus on putting
37:18systems in place. Yes. Because the problem
37:20here was that the lack of storage
37:22solutions, and if we don't do this now
37:24and get it right, it's going to be so
37:26difficult for them moving forward. Setting them
37:28up to move forward. Yeah. Exactly.
37:30Coming in, guys. Let's do this.
37:36Rob kicks things off by making the family
37:38some much-needed clever storage.
37:40What I'm building is
37:42a secret
37:44hidden office
37:46chair. This isn't just
37:48any chair. Open the lid.
37:50We've got storage on the inside.
37:52A few more pieces to do, and it'll be
37:54complete. Crack it on.
37:56Crack it on.
37:58Crack it on.
38:00I've got a great idea to store and
38:02share books, but I need a bit of help. Rob.
38:04Yes, my lovely? I want
38:06to make a book swap box
38:08for Dee. And where are we going to put
38:10this box? Out on the street.
38:12I know you've got loads to do.
38:14I'm begging you. Alright.
38:16I love you. Thank you.
38:18I'll get on with that afterwards.
38:20While Rob puts my job on hold,
38:22Ewan gets stuck into the dried paint on the
38:24sofa. I'm going to use
38:26just a plain old knife, and
38:28we're just going to use this at a right
38:30angle, and just see if we can lift off
38:32any of the paint on the
38:34surface. You can also use the
38:36safety pin as well, just to kind of scratch at it.
38:38It's basically about breaking down
38:40that solid surface that you've got.
38:42Just use a very small amount
38:44of nail polish remover
38:46on a microfibre cloth.
38:48So that in itself
38:50isn't bad.
38:52I'm going to go in with
38:54an old toothbrush, just to get in between these
38:56fibres, and just a little bit
38:58of nail polish remover.
39:00How about this? That has
39:02gone. Completely vanished.
39:08Zorba loves playing with all of our dolls,
39:10so I'm going to make
39:12the front of a doll's house on this bit of wood trim,
39:14and use the bedside table,
39:16flat-packed bedside table, as the actual
39:18inside of the house. So all my holes
39:20are cut. Now I'm just painting it.
39:22I'm just using leftover paint from the house.
39:24Look at this.
39:26Oh,
39:28how adorable.
39:30While the paint dries on the doll's house,
39:32I want to know what the others are up to.
39:34What are you doing,
39:36Deals? I am organising
39:38Dee's baking trays,
39:40using a little pegboard.
39:42That looks so good, Dilly.
39:44At least you can see everything now.
39:46No. Come on.
39:48What? Up in the back.
39:50We've got a lot of work to do.
39:52What? Up in the back.
39:54We should stick that on the wall.
39:56And then add some, like, extra
39:58hanging space.
40:00You'd fit loads on these.
40:02And they could hang from the top.
40:04I mean, that is what I was trying to tell you the whole time.
40:06That's quite genius. You're welcome.
40:10Love you.
40:12As Dilly's making the most
40:14of small spaces, Rob's maximising
40:16the potential of a large area
40:18outside. We've coated
40:20the inside and the exterior
40:22of the structure with
40:24wood preserver. Now, what this
40:26helps do is potentially
40:28add an additional ten years
40:30to the lifespan of the timber.
40:32Woohoo! Rob's put the
40:34post in already.
40:40And now, they're ready
40:42to swap books with
40:44the neighbourhood.
40:46Ta-da!
40:48A magical book swap.
40:50One more job done for me.
40:52In the living room, Dilly's getting crafty
40:54with some cardboard.
40:56D struggles with
40:58finding things, so I am making
41:00some book dividers out of some
41:02old cereal boxes. What I'm
41:04going to do is wrap these boxes
41:06and I'm going to put a letter on there
41:08so very easily you can see them.
41:10I mean, how good is that?
41:12I mean, super simple,
41:14cost-effective, bang, you've got
41:16a lovely book divider.
41:18Dilly's made life easier for D in the
41:20living room. Outside in the office,
41:22I've come up with a game-changer.
41:24There's no electricity in this shed.
41:26This is a portable
41:28power station. You can power up
41:30your computer, your phone.
41:32You can use anything on these.
41:34This is a portable
41:36power station.
41:38You can use anything on these.
41:44It's good, isn't it?
41:48We've transformed the old office
41:50into a nursery, so mum and dad
41:52get their space back and Elias gets
41:54his as he grows. And Ewan's
41:56got a DIY hack for hanging pictures.
41:58Sometimes when
42:00you're trying to screw things into the wall,
42:02the screw keeps dropping. This is a really
42:04good tip for you. Cut a straw just
42:06a little bit shorter than
42:08your screwdriver. Slide it on
42:10and place your screw onto the
42:12head of the screwdriver, but then slide
42:14the straw back over the
42:16screw and that is going to hold it in place.
42:18It just prevents the screw from
42:20falling, so this will make it so much easier
42:22to then screw this into
42:24the wall.
42:26There we are.
42:28And then
42:30there we go.
42:32Fabulous.
42:34While Ewan adds the finishing touches
42:36to the nursery, Dee and Aaron head off to their
42:38local charity to donate some of their
42:40children's equipment. Our baby's grown out
42:42of it, so we hope it can
42:44make another family happy.
42:48It's halfway through the day
42:50and for once in our lives we appear to be
42:52on schedule. Oh, it's not finished
42:54here, is it? No, tell me.
42:56Where's Rob? Don't know.
42:58Roberto?
43:00Got full hands. This
43:02is the hidden chair
43:04for our library.
43:06Oh!
43:08So clever.
43:10Okay, I'm panicking because
43:12we are in a good place and everything
43:14is going to plan.
43:16Yeah. But I do feel like if we
43:18become complacent, then
43:20we're going to be in the same situation that we're
43:22always in and I want to put as much
43:24in place for this family as possible because they so deserve
43:26it. Yeah. Okay.
43:28So, you're still
43:30organising the kitchen. Yeah. You in here
43:32cleaning? Yeah, I need to make a start. Okay.
43:34You're just starting in here? Mm-hmm.
43:36Alright, fine. Rob, you're... Just finished
43:38painting all the components. I'm just going to put them back
43:40and then it's ready for you guys.
43:42Absolutely. Alright, let's just keep going, guys.
43:44Get the energy up. No one slow down.
43:46Alright. We can do this.
43:48Yes, we can do this. In a sensible
43:50time frame.
43:52I think where we are
43:54in this house is that, yes, we're on schedule,
43:56but the truth of the matter is, if we
43:58don't get the systems right,
44:00they will be in the same position in a year's
44:02time. That cannot happen.
44:04With Dilly busy labelling up
44:06in the kitchen, I've built something special
44:08for these bits and pieces in the bedroom.
44:10I'm creating this lovely
44:12secret cabinet
44:14in the wall that looks like a picture
44:16frame but opens up with
44:18all of our favourite beauty bits
44:20inside. There we have it.
44:24These windows
44:26are just thin plastic, so I'm going to turn
44:28it into double glazing
44:30and a really cheap and efficient way of doing it
44:32is to use one of these
44:34window film kits that you can buy online
44:36pretty reasonably. This is the bit we need to get
44:38straight.
44:40Let's trim that bit off.
44:46And you see how that's stretching out now.
44:48There we go.
44:50And this is going to be
44:52so much cosier now in the winter
44:54time when Aaron and Dee are working
44:56in here.
44:58In Zora's bedroom, I'm using stencils
45:00to brighten up the walls.
45:02This is a better idea than wallpaper
45:04because with wallpaper, once they grow
45:06out of it or if you feel like
45:08the fashion changes and you want to get rid of it,
45:10you've got to steam it off and
45:12sand the walls back. This,
45:14you can just get a roller out and paint
45:16over it. Oh my gosh, this is literally
45:18the last stencil.
45:20How exciting.
45:24Chef's kiss.
45:34Don't slow down now.
45:36We're on the final hurdle.
45:38Come on, let's get home.
45:40Okay, you put those in there.
45:42I'm going to start putting the toys in the basket.
45:44Come on.
45:50There.
45:52Right, speakers
45:54are in. Okay.
46:00Oh my goodness,
46:02is that it? We are officially
46:04done on time.
46:10Come on, get out of here.
46:12We're actually leaving on time for once.
46:14It's time to go.
46:16Where's the handle?
46:18Oh no.
46:20Where is the handle?
46:22We've got one more thing to do.
46:24You've got one more thing to do.
46:28Well, we'll meet you at the pub, Rob.
46:30That's a Rob job, for sure.
46:32Good luck, see you over there.
46:34I just
46:36always got all the work to do.
46:42Last week,
46:44the Knoll family were struggling with a house
46:46that was disorganised and bordering
46:48on chaos. Far from the dream
46:50home that Dee and Aaron would love to start
46:52the next chapter in.
46:54Hey.
46:56Now it's time to see if letting go of half
46:58of their possessions has paid off.
47:00Welcome home.
47:02Hello.
47:04Hello.
47:06How are you both feeling? I'm very excited.
47:08Nervous.
47:10Shall we go inside?
47:12I've been dying to go inside, let's go.
47:14Come on, let's go and see.
47:16Oh my gosh, you see it already.
47:18I've built you a little neighbourhood
47:20book swap. It's amazing.
47:22Then the neighbours can come along and maybe
47:24pick one, put one in and you'll have
47:26fresh books to read. That's amazing.
47:28Right, let's go.
47:30Come on, come on, let's go.
47:32Oh my God. Come on, Dora.
47:34Let's go.
47:36Welcome.
47:38Wow.
47:40It's a front room.
47:42I don't understand.
47:44Wow.
47:46Wow.
47:48This looks beautiful.
47:50The living room was once
47:52disordered and cluttered.
47:54By removing the workstation and overflowing
47:56bookcase, we've
47:58created a hidden office space
48:00and with bespoke bookshelves
48:02it is now a multi-functional
48:04area for the whole family to enjoy.
48:06I just can't wait
48:08to sit down and enjoy it.
48:10So you had
48:12zero pictures up in the house, so I thought
48:14I'm going to put them prior to placing the living room
48:16where you spend your time. That's great.
48:18Aren't they good? Wow, wow, wow.
48:20So Rob built this
48:22bookcase so that there's
48:24proper storage for all the books.
48:26Because Rob's a little genius
48:28he thought he'd make a little
48:30secret office space.
48:32So this is a little chair
48:34to sit on, put your laptop up,
48:36do your work, and then when you're
48:38finished you can just close it away.
48:40Wow, wow, wow.
48:42Extra storage in here as well.
48:44So there's more toys in there.
48:46Wow.
48:48Honestly, you guys have thought of everything.
48:50That is brilliant.
48:52We could have never even dreamed of
48:54achieving this, ever.
48:56Thank you so much.
49:00Shall we see more? There's so much more.
49:02Wow.
49:04Let's keep going.
49:06Welcome
49:08to your bedroom.
49:16Aaron and Dee's bedroom was disorganised
49:18and it lacked character and systems.
49:22Now with a splash of colour and practical
49:24storage solutions, it's a beautifully
49:26designed colourful room
49:28with a make-up area for Dee.
49:30I feel like I'm just in another house.
49:32Do you?
49:34I've got an area to get to
49:36Dee. You said it before
49:38I could. You've finally got
49:40an area to get ready in.
49:42And by the way, this little chair
49:44has storage in. Oh my gosh.
49:46Oh, this is great.
49:48You guys are so smart.
49:50This, for the win.
49:52Everything is super organised and in here.
49:54Just behind you was actually
49:56a really special piece of artwork
49:58because
50:00it's a little hidden
50:02make-up cupboard.
50:06Wow, look at that.
50:08That is fantastic.
50:10Oh my gosh.
50:12You could have your best stuff
50:14in there and every morning you sit at your desk
50:16you can come and get what you need.
50:18It's great, isn't it?
50:20I never would have guessed that.
50:22Fantastic.
50:24And then when you're done with it, you just close it.
50:26It's just a pretty bit of artwork.
50:28Oh, that's great.
50:30I'm going to show you something as well, Aaron.
50:32In your bedside drawers
50:34is an album
50:36of tickets.
50:38Oh my gosh.
50:40That's too much.
50:42That's beautiful. It's too much for me.
50:46It just warms my heart a lot.
50:48You deserve it. You're amazing.
50:50You're both such amazing parents
50:52and you work so hard and you so deserve this fresh start.
50:54And also I didn't want to lose
50:56that travel card from 2007.
51:02Come in.
51:04To your new
51:06nursery.
51:10This is so sweet.
51:12We've transformed the cluttered spare room
51:14into a new nursery for Elias
51:16with systems in place
51:18that will give these busy parents
51:20back some much needed time.
51:22I love this little
51:24rail, these little outfits on.
51:26We put this rail up
51:28because we thought you could put
51:30tomorrow's outfit on there.
51:32You could even put a week's worth of outfits on there.
51:34And then you're sort of organised for the week ahead.
51:36It's just another thing off the list, right?
51:38Definitely.
51:40And look!
51:42The train set!
51:44I know it was a big thing in the warehouse
51:46and you really wanted to hold on to it.
51:48So we thought, right, I set this little bit of track up
51:50and there's some spare track
51:52in this box here.
51:54So it's got somewhere to live now.
51:56Not under the stairs.
51:58We've still got more to see, would you believe?
52:00Oh my gosh, right.
52:02Shall we keep going?
52:04Let's keep going.
52:14This is what?
52:16This is amazing!
52:18There's so much to explore!
52:20Once cluttered and dominated
52:22by a huge double bed,
52:24now Zora's bedroom
52:26is spacious, exciting
52:28and colourful.
52:30And we've created inventive storage
52:32for all her belongings.
52:34I made you a really special
52:36cupboard that's actually
52:38a doll's house.
52:44That is the reaction I was hoping for, Zora.
52:46That is the magic.
52:48That is magic.
52:50Oh my gosh!
52:52Look at your room!
52:58All of Zora's toys are organised and labelled
53:00and we put labels on with pictures too.
53:02So it's easy for her to understand
53:04and put things back in the right places.
53:06It's just trying to think of those systems
53:08that are going to help you in the future.
53:10I will take anything.
53:12Anything that will make it easier.
53:14Definitely.
53:16I'll put the top of the wardrobe here.
53:18The too big, too small section.
53:20That's great.
53:22It's amazing.
53:24It is, isn't it?
53:28What a beautiful room.
53:30I want to be a little girl again.
53:36I just feel so
53:38overwhelmed.
53:40I just feel so grateful for everything
53:42that I do with Zora.
53:44How would I have felt
53:46if I was a little girl and I had
53:48these experiences?
53:50I so much
53:52want the kids to really enjoy their
53:54childhood and to be happy.
53:56If I had something like this as a child
53:58I would be so happy as well.
54:00I'm so happy for you
54:02and I'm so glad that you get this opportunity.
54:04I'm so excited for Zora.
54:06I'm so glad you get to live it with her.
54:12What?
54:14That wasn't here before.
54:16Where's the shed with the hole in the roof?
54:18These guys are going mad while we're away.
54:20I can't believe we did this in seven days.
54:22Do you want to go out and take a look inside?
54:24Yeah.
54:26Welcome
54:28to your new home office.
54:32Oh my god.
54:34Wow.
54:38Once a broken shed overflowing
54:40from old furniture to electrical equipment.
54:42Now in its place
54:44we've built a much needed
54:46clear workspace for Aaron and Dee.
54:48What a beautiful office.
54:50Wow.
54:52Well we thought
54:54that you deserved a space
54:56to be able to work in together.
54:58We couldn't get electrics here yet.
55:00I know one day you might but what we did
55:02is we got a big battery
55:04that's solar powered that can run
55:06everything in this office.
55:08And it can run the computers,
55:10the lights, everything in here.
55:12This space is amazing.
55:14Like you've changed our lives.
55:16I can't even begin
55:18to thank you all enough.
55:20Inside here.
55:22Okay.
55:24Wow.
55:30That's it now.
55:32Everyone has to look up now.
55:34Husband and wife DJ team now.
55:36Come on.
55:38I love that you've got that little space.
55:40That's amazing.
55:42You've made our dreams come true.
55:44Like honestly.
55:52Hello.
55:54Oh my gosh.
55:56Thank you so much.
56:02Have we given you the reset you needed?
56:04Three million percent.
56:06I can't wait to just like call the neighbourhood
56:08and get them round to the other people.
56:10I feel ecstatic.
56:12That was just
56:14so much fun and just so wonderful
56:16at the same time.
56:22Dee and Aaron
56:24put everything into this process.
56:26We got to them just in the nick of time.
56:28The pressure was on us to then deliver
56:30the systems but we absolutely
56:32nailed it.
56:34I'm so proud of everything we've achieved in there.
56:36And that's it.
56:38Mission accomplished.
56:46Just love it.
56:48It's a dream come true.
56:50It's been great.
56:52Elias having his own space.
56:54He's got his clothes all organised
56:56and sorted out.
56:58Getting him dressed is a dream.
57:00Look at the bibs.
57:02Everything has a place so if you take something
57:04out you know where it's going back to.
57:06Zora also knows.
57:08It's been amazing really.
57:10It's really given her a lot more independence.
57:12And her room works more for her.
57:16The office, it's revolutionised
57:18everything. It's just so easy to just
57:20put your laptop and just sit down and work there.
57:22This is how we wanted our home to be.
57:24We're so happy with how the home is.
57:26I feel like we've really
57:28been set up for the future.
57:58.
