00:00In the face of the greatest impact of the effects of climate change,
00:04some activities as support for the passing of Earth Hour this Saturday

00:17Almost 120 countries were on Earth Hour on Saturday night.
00:22This is an hour of turning off the lights from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
00:27This is an awareness against climate change and nature loss.
00:31One city hosted the event for Earth Hour 2025.
00:35Along with turning off the lights,
00:37floating lotus candles were lit as a symbol of hope and sustainability.
00:42This is to raise awareness about the effects of climate change on us.
00:46We only have one planet, and that is Earth.
00:50Beautiful lotus candles were lit
00:53on top of water that forms 60 or 60 minutes of solitude for Earth Hour.
01:00Stage performers used colorful LEDs and glowing lights in Quezon City.
01:07Students in QC were also alone and watched the show for Earth Hour.
01:12The brighter and greener future is far away.
01:17In Cagayan de Oro, Earth Hour was celebrated by cycling.
01:22Aside from saving energy by turning off the lights,
01:26they also helped the environment by reducing carbon emissions by cycling.

01:39President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sent a message of support.
01:43The President of Earth Hour said that it is a symbol of hope

01:50According to the President, we have the ability to make positive changes.
01:55The World Wide Fund for Nature Philippines
01:58prioritized the implementation of Earth Hour 2025 in the country.
02:01Because of Earth Hour, we were able to give 3 million hours to the planet.
02:05That's more than double than 1.4 million in 2024.
