00:00Malacanang made it clear in the question and in the interim release of our President Rodrigo Duterte.

00:06He also reminded that it is not a personal issue that he attacked former President Duterte

00:19The opposition of the Philippine government to the International Criminal Court has not changed.

00:25That is the country's lack of recognition in the jurisdiction of the ICC.

00:29That is the answer to the question if the government is ready to help in the interim release of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

00:37One of the conditions is if the Philippines will allow the guidelines of the ICC.

00:42According to Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro,

00:45the former President's camp asked the Supreme Court not to help the ICC.

00:51So it means that if we will not cooperate with the ICC,

00:55even that prayer or even that manifestation of the ICC,

00:58we will not take cognizance of that.

01:00If ever there will be an interim release of the former President,

01:03Duterte's camp should be ready for the process.

01:07It is hard to say, although that's hypothetical,

01:14to say that we will cooperate with the ICC when it comes to the interim release

01:19because all the issues there will be opened.

01:22It will also be opened if there will be a freeze order for his assets.

01:27Will Duterte's family want us to cooperate with the ICC
