00:00All right, I read an article on the website Mediaite a couple of days ago, I mean they're

00:08known mainly for like video news clips and stuff, but they do have some good articles.

00:12They have a couple of really shitty writers who are just like conservative hacks, but

00:20there's some good stuff on there.

00:23And I read an interesting article called Joe Rogan, Candace Owens and the mainstreaming

00:27of anti-Semitism exposes a rot in American media.

00:33Now immediately I was like, oh, okay, because now it's like, you know, when we see an article

00:42with this kind of a title, you got to look at who it's from.

00:46And we've, you know, I think our country is viewing a lot of things like this through

00:53the lens of, you know, AIPAC and their control over Congress and the Anti-Defamation League

01:01who literally calls every single person who disagrees with any single thing about the

01:06Israeli government or the Israeli military an anti-Semite and sees anti-Semitism, you

01:13know, around every single corner, you know.

01:18Still, let alone what Netanyahu and the Israeli military are doing inside the Gaza Strip for

01:29the last 15 months.

01:34But you know, this word anti-Semitism has been thrown around a lot over the last 14,

01:4415 months or, you know, I don't know, several thousand years.

01:52But you know, I wanted to read this article and see what perspective they were bringing

01:57to this situation.

02:00It's a good article.

02:02In recent days, some of the most popular podcasts in the United States have hosted known anti-Semitic

02:07conspiracy theorists, and weirdly, almost all of them are on the right, leading many

02:13in the media to sound the alarm over the world's oldest hate reaching a new, younger audience

02:19on the right.

02:20Joe Rogan, Theo Vaughn, Stephen A. Smith, and Patrick David have all raised eyebrows

02:27for bringing on guests who regularly dabble in anti-Semitic tropes and accuse Jews or

02:33Israel of global manipulation and influence.

02:37Last week, avowed neo-Nazi and one-time Trump dinner guest Nick Fuentes praised this ongoing

02:44trend.

02:45So, that's how you know it has a little bit of credibility to it.

02:49Nick Fuentes said the following, Candace Owens is on Theo Vaughn, and Theo Vaughn is clearly

02:54red-pilled.

02:55Stephen A. Smith had Candace Owens on, he's clearly red-pilled.

02:59Jason Whitlock is praising Andrew Tate.

03:02He's clearly red-pilled.

03:04Andrew Tate is, red-pilled Tate is on Patrick David spreading the message, and he's saying

03:13that this is a good thing that these podcasts are having on guests who spread anti-Semitism.

03:22Joe Rogan had a guy on named Ian Carroll, and these podcasts are part of what has been

03:34described as the manosphere, this kind of new right media, and Trump appeared on a lot

03:40of these podcasts during the campaign.

03:44It's fueled by these personalities which helped Trump reach a younger male audience of voters

03:50across the country, and there's no denying that that had an impact.

03:55He spent three hours on Joe Rogan's show, and that show was listened to by 59 million

04:00people.

04:02Yeah, and Kamala couldn't change her travel schedule.

04:08What are you going to do?

04:15Missed opportunity.

04:17An organization called The Forward dove into Joe Rogan's nearly three-hour sit-down with

04:22Ian Carroll, who said that Israel is behind the Jeffrey Epstein cover-up, and Ian Carroll

04:31has a long history of pushing false claims about the Holocaust, Israel, and Jewish power.

04:40Rogan has also interviewed Candace Owens, Alex Jones, Jake Shields, an MMA fighter turned

04:47far-right commentator who has previously said that the Jews control America, and Rogan

04:53also interviewed Nazi apologist Daryl Cooper.

04:57All of that happened within about a two-week period of time.

05:02And their commentary about Rogan, I found to be interesting, in which they basically

05:14described him, okay, here we go.

05:16But in fact, the likes of Joe Rogan and Candace Owens, well, let me back up a second.

05:23The rise of anti-Semitism on these platforms, including Rogan's show, which regularly pulls

05:27in over 14 million viewers, serves as further proof of the media's disintegration and what

05:33happens as guardrails and editorial standards not only fall by the wayside, but become the

05:39enemy of new media.

05:41In fact, the likes of Joe Rogan and Candace Owens, they adhere to no actual standards,

05:47like journalistic standards, apart from what they impose on themselves, which in the end

05:52of the day is whatever helps them grow their audience.

05:56Rogan has long raised eyebrows for bringing on guests and not only allowing them to push

06:00whatever wild theories they come up with that day, but for being easily taken in by them

06:06and nodding along in agreement, something that would never pass muster in a credible

06:11newsroom.

06:13So I would argue two things.

06:21I do believe there's been a rise in anti-Semitism in the United States.

06:27I would also argue, and I'm going to probably get some shit for this, that the policies

06:33of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli government, and the Israeli military have probably not

06:42done a lot to help that.

06:44But you know, I denounce anti-Semitism everywhere, and I also denounce absolutely every single

06:53thing that the Israeli military and the Israeli government have done inside the Gaza Strip,

06:57and a lot of the things that they've done here in the United States.
