00:00Good afternoon everyone from Wembley Way. You can see all that. Lots of black and white. Lots of Newcastle fans here today as they were two years ago for the Carabao Cup final and well, a very familiar feel about the day itself in terms of Newcastle being here before.
00:21Covent Garden last night. It felt familiar. That's a good thing. Newcastle getting used to this relative level of success but actual, tangible success remains the big question. Can they achieve it today?
00:34Today, Carabao Cup final. They were beaten two years ago at Wembley by Manchester United. Liverpool will be a very tough challenge today but speaking of people in and around, Wembley at Covent Garden last night, a lot of people very confident about Newcastle's chances.
00:52I think if it comes from a place of breed positivity, manifest it and it will transpire. Myself, I think naturally you come up against Liverpool. It's tough. Newcastle historically at Wembley have struggled.
01:08I think at the very least, I want to see a goal today from Newcastle. Give the fans something to celebrate, something to hang on to. With Alexander Isak in your team starting, which he wasn't last time against Liverpool, remember that three goals in five games against Liverpool usually turns up against them. I asked him on Friday about games against Liverpool. He says he really enjoys playing against them.
01:31Just the way they play and he thinks that the way Newcastle can counter and really run at Liverpool and attack them lends itself well to his game. So, I think with him in the side, Newcastle have a chance. They will need him to turn up. They need players like Harvey Barnes who could get given another opportunity in Anthony Gordon's absence and of course the defence will have to do very well and big questions over the goalkeeper.
01:56I've been here about 24 hours now here in London and we'll have all the coverage to come in the build up to the Cowboy Cup final over on ShieldsGazette.com and of course the fallout from whatever the result may be on the Shields Gazette website. I've been Don Skirk, here I'm from Wembley Stadium throughout the afternoon and hopefully it's one to remember.
