Wester Hailes residents hit back at worst area claim in survey

Locals in Wester Hailes have hit back at a recent survey which claimed the area is one of the 10 worst parts of Edinburgh to live.

00:40Well, I think everybody, it's not as bad as what people make it out to be.

01:06I know that, I know it anyway.

01:08But, I mean, the gangs were different neighbourhoods and that, the whole story.

01:12And, I mean, that's as bad as it got, really.

01:15I like Western Hills because it's multicultural.

01:19People are very approachable.

01:23Everything is close by. You've got the library.
