00:00The Agriculture Department and DTI inspected the Balintawak Market to verify that the sellers of MSRP in pork are following suit.

00:11The DA also verified that the price of agricultural commodities will not drop in the coming weeks.

00:23Alad, the price of pork in the Balintawak Market is lower than the maximum suggested retail price.

00:30In the joint inspection of the Department of Agriculture and Department of Trade and Industry in the Balintawak Market earlier,

00:36it was found that the price of pork in the Balintawak Market is lower than the MSRP of P380.

00:43The price of pork in the MSRP of P340 is lower than the MSRP of P360.

00:49Even though the MSRP of P300 is lower than the MSRP of P255.

00:55The DA and travelers agreed that the price of pork in the Balintawak Market is lower than the MSRP of P230.

01:04It is expected that others will follow suit because of the market forcing.

01:07This means that if the price of pork in some markets starts to drop, others will also drop.

01:13The supply of pork is also adequate because it speeds up the repopulation and in vaccinating against African swine fever.

01:20Even though the Department of Agriculture and Department of Trade and Industry is not easily affected,

01:24the legal department is already studying what to do to fight MSRP.

01:29There will be a monthly evaluation of the DA to support MSRP.

01:35It started on Monday and after one month, we will have a meeting again.

01:40Secretary Keiko had a meeting two weeks ago.

01:44Yesterday, we had a meeting with the travelers.

01:47So, please talk first.

01:50This month, we will revisit the price and most likely, the price will still drop.

02:01The price of vegetables in the market is also dropping, especially onions and tomatoes,

02:06because of the entry of hexapetone.

02:08The regional office of the DOH market-linked the supply of tomatoes so that it won't be wasted.

02:14According to the DA, the price of agricultural products is not expected to increase in the next few weeks

02:20because of the stable supply and demand.
