00:00We've seen a lot of pullback on casino betting online.
00:03It seems like some states are in favor of it,
00:05but actually it feels like it's 50-50.
00:07Some want it, some don't.
00:09We have a new state here that says
00:11we'll pass on casino gambling.
00:13Who is it?
00:14Yeah, New Hampshire was kind of one of those states
00:15that you thought might be able to slip in.
00:17To your point, there was an avalanche
00:20of states legalizing sports betting after PESA.
00:23And now that we've seen a lot of states legalize that,
00:26and you're down to the few states that don't want to,
00:29that we talked about, like Georgia.
00:31Now we're turning the attention,
00:33and the industry's turning the attention to online casino.
00:36You know, the big operators want this.
00:38It's a huge revenue opportunity,
00:40and states are kind of seeing it
00:41as revenue opportunities as well.
00:44But then there's the balance of problem gambling
00:46and responsible gambling and the like.
00:49And New Hampshire was one of those states
00:50that kind of looked like it could be a good chance
00:52to get a state to legalize this.
00:54You know, there's only seven, six or seven,
00:57I can never remember.
00:59But they are tabling it.
01:01The sponsor said, nope, let's not do it this year.
01:04And so we've seen quite a few states introduce it,
01:07quite a few states talk about it a little bit.
01:10But then a lot of lawmakers kind of pumping the brakes,
01:13saying, nope, this is something that we definitely need
01:15to take a deeper look at, a closer look,
01:17and see if it's okay for our constituents,
01:19whether or not it's okay to move forward.
01:22So yeah, it's gonna be interesting to see
01:25if any state kind of moves it any more than it has.
01:28I'm hearing some things out of Arkansas,
01:30might be a state that kind of sneaks in with it this year.
01:33So I'll keep you updated on that.
01:35But yeah, New Hampshire is a no-go
01:37for online casino this year.
