00:00Okay, so speaking of the summer, summer and betting online, online casinos, that's something that I'm sure that the people in Maine and Arkansas would love to be doing, but sounds like that's not going to be the case as we close out our segment.
00:12Yeah, no, I mean, this is something we've known was coming was discussions on online casinos. You know, you've got nearing 40 states that have legal sports betting if Hawaii gets it done this year. And so that that next step for the industry is more legal online casino states.
00:28You know, we have about seven, Michigan included here where I am. And even that uptick or uptake of the legislators talking about this is really slow. I mean, entering this, we had almost a dozen states that felt like talking about it, or at least having online casino legislation introduced.
00:47Very quickly, the Virginia lawmakers said, let's not touch it. Wyoming similarly said, let's not go into that. Indiana, you had a quick talk that, well, maybe it could get done. They dropped it.
00:59And now you've got Arkansas and Maine both saying, you know what, let's go ahead and kind of punt this into the future. Arkansas is an interesting one.
01:07They've got a sports betting market that's unlike most others in the country. You've got, you know, local casinos that run it because of a 51% revenue share rate.
01:17And we, before this session, we even had CMO of Saracen Casino talking about opening up online casino by just amending the regulations to include the borders rather than the walls of casinos.
01:31And the legislator didn't like that much. And then, so they went in to talk about it legislatively. And then they just said, well, let's do a study or, or, and so they turned that bill into a study main.
01:43It would be kind of similarly through the tribes, just like sports betting is three of the four tribes are partnered with draft Kings up there.
01:51And then another one with Caesars. And so they said, you know, let's go ahead and do online casino like that.
01:57So again, they said, no, not too, too quick. We're not going to do it yet. So yeah, just more and more states just kind of pumping the brakes on online casino saying this is too much, too fast for online gambling.
02:10It seems like for, for some legislators. So I do expect more and more to talk about it again next year as we, we kind of see this year kind of go by without any legalizations, but yeah, just two more states to say, no, not this year on online casino.
