01:28In 2012, she was appointed as the chief negotiator for the Peace Talks

01:33in the Moro Islamic Liberation Front,

01:35which was based on the signing of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Moro Nation in 2014.

01:40This agreement was established by the Moro Autonomous Region and Muslim in Danau.

01:45She became the first female chief negotiator in the world

01:49to agree on peace in a rebelling group.

01:52We proved that women can do it, and that we can do it well,

01:57and that it's only normal that women and men should be partners in building peace.

02:04Because of this, she was awarded the Hillary Clinton Award for Advancing Peace and Security in 2015
