00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. cried when he remembered the local governments affected by the volcano
00:08in a situation briefing in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
00:12The DOST shared various scenarios or activities that may happen in the future.
00:18Negros Occidental Governor Bong Lacson noted that four municipalities and three towns were affected
00:26and that more than 1,700 families or more than 5,000 residents are still staying in evacuation centers.
00:34The Office of Civil Defense Administrator Ariel Nepomuceno said that if the alert level 4 is raised in the volcano,
00:41more than 60,000 individuals will need to be evacuated.
00:46The former task force was mobilized to evacuate the residents.
00:54President Marcos is also looking for additional funds to send relief goods and equipment
01:00and to build facilities in evacuation centers.
01:05Meanwhile, the President also prioritized the distribution of Php 5,000 financial assistance
01:10and Family Food Packs to more than 1,000 residents in La Carlota City.
