00:12Father Romel went to the market early in the morning.

00:15He immediately bought a sack or 25 kilos of rice for his family.

00:20It's just in time that the President's kiosk is opening in Pasay Public Market.

00:26So instead of spending P1,500 for rice, he spent only P1,000.

00:32For the President's kiosk, he can buy 40 pesos per kilo of well-milled rice.

00:37We took advantage of it because the kiosk is very rare here.

00:42It's a big thing for us to be able to afford it.

00:44It's hard to make a living now.

00:46His savings can be added to his son's salary.

00:50Meanwhile, according to the DA, the prices of groceries will not increase for more than a week before Christmas.

00:59Because it's Christmas, I think we cannot stop the prices from going up.

01:06Especially when there's the ASF on pork.

01:10But earlier, I saw bangus and tilapia. Actually, the prices are correct.

01:15If it's going to go up, it's only 5%.

01:18It's enough that the prices of groceries for the holiday season have gone up.

01:22The prices of chicken, pork, and eggs have gone up.

01:25But for some fish, the prices are still low.

01:28For chicken vendors, it's a big blow that the prices of local chickens have gone up.

01:34Because the prices are not as high as for frozen or imported chickens.

01:39The prices of chickens have gone up because the prices are too high.

01:44Especially for imported chickens.

01:48The DA also reminded that it's mandatory for vendors to put a price tag

01:54so that the buyers can be sure that the prices are correct.
