00:00There are some guys that are going later in ADP that I think are worth mentioning.
00:03Now, this first guy we're going to talk about over the weekend, he did have a little bit of a
00:07wrist issue. The x-rays were negative. He's going to go for some imaging just to be sure that
00:11everything is okay. But Jerickson Profar, coming off a career season last year for the Padres,
00:16finds himself in Atlanta. This was one of the under-radar signings that I absolutely
00:20love this offseason. The Atlanta Braves crushed this one. This year, the projections for him,
00:24I think, are a little light to tell you the truth. 16 homers, 7 steals. I think he could
00:30be much more of a 15-15 guy, and I think the batting average over .256 as well. I think these
00:36projections are baking in that Profar has been a guy that has struggled at times in his career or
00:40struggled with injuries in his career. However, if he's healthy, and again, that's an if. We'll
00:45have to continue to look forward to more news from the Jerickson Profar camp in the next 48 hours.
00:50So far, the signs are good, but if he's healthy, George, you know at the beginning of the year
00:54when Acuna is out that he's going to be heading towards the top of that order. If he gets hot,
00:59stays hot, he could stick at the top of that order, and Michael Harris might be the guy that
01:04gets dropped down. That would make Profar incredibly valuable in my opinion, and when
01:08you consider his ADP, I think it's pretty crazy not to want to make that investment.
01:12What are your thoughts on Profar as a late-round outfielder?
01:16Oh, late-round, fine, right? You'll be very careful right now. Now, the x-rays did come
01:20back negative, we know that, but that just means he has no broken bones, all right? We'll see what's
01:25going on with wrist and ligament damage, you know, ligament, tendon, everything else is going on in
01:29that wrist. So I need more information right now before I touch Profar. I already mentioned
01:34the two worst injuries for a batter, you know, oblique and wrist. Anything to do with the hands,
01:40fingers, not good when it comes to a batter here. So I need more information right now,
01:44but listen, I'm drafting Monday night. If he falls down where he'd be my fourth,
01:48fifth outfielder, oh, fine, I'll take him. No worries, though, because once again,
01:52anything that's hurt, he's my fourth, fifth outfielder. I'll have somebody on my bench,
01:56by the way, because I'll have, you know, reserve outfield, I can just plug in for him,
01:58so I'll be okay with that here, but do you have anything to be anything more than that right now?
02:03No, can't do it. Now, unless we get more information, as you said, I'm drafting in what,
02:0831 hours. That's bad math, but around 34 hours or so, hopefully I'll have more information.
02:147.30 tomorrow night, so at 8.30, whatever it is, it's a while. So I'll have more information,
02:20at least I should have more information, but Joe, I am generally a very conservative drafter,
02:26especially in the early rounds. He won't go in the early rounds, right? He'll go in the later
02:29rounds. He's at number 165, George, right now, and that's before the injury rounds.
