06:32One time she would have travelled and even if she would have bought around 4-5 kgs, that
06:36is more than enough.
06:37She has carried around 12.8 kgs when she was being detained and thereafter she bought so
06:43much of gold smuggled from Dubai for so many times.
06:47As you rightly pointed out that she travelled 27 times alone this year and what we also
06:53get to learn through our sources is that she was getting 1 lakh per kg of gold that she
06:57had smuggled from Dubai and handed over to the handler here in Bengaluru.
07:01So the police will conduct an investigation and try to understand who are the people behind
07:05this, what is the nexus, if there are any kind of influential people because she cannot
07:09crack this kind of smuggling very easily without any kind of influential person who are backing
07:17her.

07:23went wrong and how she has smuggled and from how many years she is doing all the smuggling

30:57And we've made tremendous progress on both.
31:00This USMCA exemption that you're essentially announcing today for just one month?
31:05It's just a modification, short-term, because I didn't want to hurt the American, it would
31:10have hurt the American car companies if I did that.
31:13Would you consider the same sort of exemption or pause for the auto tariffs you're talking
31:17about next month?
31:18We're not looking at that, no.
31:19You're not?
31:20No, we're not looking at that, no.
31:22Those are happening next week, and the big one will be on April 2nd when reciprocal tariffs.
31:29I don't know if India or China or any of the countries that really, India's a very
31:35high tariff nation.
31:36I'll tell you what's a high tariff nation, it's Canada.
31:40Canada charges us 250% for our milk product and other product, and a tremendous tariff
31:49on lumber and things as such, and yet we don't need their lumber, we have more lumber than
31:53they do.
31:54We don't need Canada's lumber.
31:57Mr. Bevidas Shashank, tell us this, how his agenda is going to be with these different
32:03nations?
32:04It appears that he's not going against them collectively, he's taking an individual stand,
32:09because that'll get me curious about how his behavior with India will proceed.
32:12No, absolutely.
32:13Look, what we've seen with Donald Trump is that, of course, he declared a trade war with
32:19the Canadians and Mexico, and then, of course, there was outcry from the domestic automotives
32:24industry.
32:25And, of course, then on Wednesday, he had to spare American carmakers from these 25%
32:30import taxes.
32:31Now, again, he signed exemptions, again, today, for both Canada as well as Mexico, because,
32:37again, presumably, of the outcry from various business communities on how important, because
32:43of how important the Canadian as well as the Mexican markets are for America.
32:47So, yes, absolutely, there is a sense that Donald Trump, if there is a strong business
32:51case to it, is willing to listen to business groups, etc., to make sure that there are
32:57exemptions to these tariffs, that the deal can be reached.
32:59And that's exactly why Piyush Goyal, India's Commerce Minister, is in America right now.
33:03He's there to hammer out a deal to make sure that India can avoid a lot of these tariffs,
33:07cut tariffs in key areas, like American automobiles, in exchange for a good deal for India as well,
33:12in terms of getting better mobility for professionals, as well as other easing of non-tariff barriers
33:18for Indian goods entering the Indian market.
33:20So a good deal is what India wants.
33:21But let's then talk about Canada, because Canada was one country heavily depending on
33:26USA, for so many reasons.
33:28Trump still called him Governor Trudeau and said that on Canada, they're not backing down.
33:33Well, the important thing to remember is that it's true that Donald Trump and Justin Trudeau
33:38do not have a good relationship, and he continues to employ these sort of tactics with Justin
33:43Trudeau.
33:44But it's important to note that when, on Thursday, just today, of course, just yesterday, for
33:49example, Donald Trump did pass an order exempting goods from both Canada as well as Mexico.
33:54Now, it seems because that he may have a better working relationship with Mexico.
