00:00PTVE Balita is back now. PhilHealth is about to start the process for more than a million pesos worth of denied claims due to the late filing of hospitals.

00:12PhilHealth and CEO Dr. Edwin Mercado will share the efforts of the agency to solve the backlog and streamline the process.

00:23According to PhilHealth, from 2018 to 2024, 30% of the denied claims are due to the late filing of hospitals.

00:33Meanwhile, Dr. Mercado also assured that PhilHealth has enough funds to expand the provision of services and benefits.

00:43Today, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. personally inspected the newly built Santa Maria Bridge in Isabela.

00:51The DPWH and local officials were delighted when the President assessed the dam.

00:57According to the President, the design flaw or design problem is the main reason for the damaged dam.
