00:00At the same time of the National Women's and Fire Prevention Month,

00:04the female emergency responders of the firefighting drills in Tuguegarao City showed off their skills.

00:09Dina Villacamp, Pahalang Radio Pilipinas, Tuguegarao, has the latest news.

00:16It was early and noisy.

00:18That's how the firefighters who were fighting the firefighting and emergency response

00:23in one of the fire drills in a mall in Tuguegarao City.

00:26But behind those uniforms,

00:29they are actually female firefighters.

00:31This is part of their training to ensure their safety

00:36as part of the National Women's Month.

00:39Twice a year, they conduct fire drills

00:42so that we can see where we need to improve

00:47on the part of our responders.

00:50Although, now, the Women's Month is being highlighted,

00:54so if you noticed,

00:55in the fire drill earlier,

00:58all of our responders are female.

01:02Under the same program,

01:05the Bureau of Fire Protection continues to monitor the establishments

01:08this Fire Prevention Month.

01:10Its goal is to strengthen the awareness and knowledge of the public

01:14on the prevention of fire and response to emergency situations.

01:18Aside from fire and earthquake drills,

01:21the BFP Tuguegarao Information and Education Campaign

01:25aims to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipinos.
