00:06Almost a whole barrel of a gun was almost destroyed because of a year of quarrying.

00:12The story of that is based on my exclusive report.

00:19How many hours did it take before the CIDG arrived at the barrel of this gun

00:25at the border of Doña Remedios Trinidad and Norzagaray in Bulacan?

00:31Their target is the alleged quarry site of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office

00:36because it is illegal to mine there.

00:39There is a company there that has legal operations.

00:43They work there together.

00:45They don't have permits. They don't have licenses.

00:49They don't even have agreements or lease agreements in the area.

00:55According to the CIDG, the quarry has been operating for a year

00:59so the barrel of the gun was almost destroyed.

01:02It is not green anymore like before.

01:05They use bombs or dynamite or other explosives on the ground

01:10to extract other trees and forests.

01:16What they extract is the limestone in the area.

01:22In exchange for the extracted limestone that is used as construction material,

01:26it is possible to extract a large amount of rainwater in many places in Bulacan.

01:31The rain is approaching.

01:33The first thing that will hit are the lowlands here in Malolos, Bulacan, Giguinto,

01:40in the part of Norzagaray, Santa Maria.

01:46Seven workers were arrested.
