00:00The three-year-old boy who was burned in Lechunan in Mandaluyong was killed.

00:06He tried to be saved by his father, but he was killed by a fire.

00:12Bernadette Reyes was the one who was shot.

00:19In this drone video, you can see the blazing fire on J. Prizal Street,

00:23Barangay Namayan, Mandaluyong that started last Saturday morning.

00:27Lechunan, barracks of workers, junk shop and warehouse were the ones who were shot.

00:34In this video, you can see how fast the smoke covered the structures.

00:40After less than two hours, the 13-year-old boy was shot.

00:46His father tried to identify him,

00:49if he was one of the firefighters from the barracks that were shot.

00:54He was a three-year-old boy. He was one of the workers in Lechunan.

00:59We saw that the barracks is made of wood, light materials.

01:03That's how fast the fire started on their part.

01:07According to witnesses, the father tried to save the boy.

01:11The fire was so strong that the boy's father climbed to the edge of the house.

01:19The boy was not able to be saved because his father heard him crying.

01:25The residents of the nearby residential area were quick to evacuate.

01:30No matter what, he did not run away.

01:32Because of the fire, it was so big earlier.

01:35So we just went around.

01:37The important things like clothes, LPGs, those were the things we evacuated.

01:44It was past 8 o'clock this morning when the fire was declared under control here in Mandaluyong.

01:50The BFP has not yet determined what caused the fire,

01:53but they have a reminder this Fire Prevention Month.

01:56It is still under investigation based on the statements of the people.

02:00So that's where Lechunan started.

02:02But our investigators will verify it.
