01:07Imam Ghazali has written in his book, Mukaashafatul Quloob,
01:13that the angel of death came to Prophet Jacob.
01:19The Prophet said, have you come to meet me or have you come to take my soul?
01:29The angel of death said, O Prophet of Allah,
01:33when I come for death, I will not come like this.
01:38Before I come, I will send two or three Qasids.
01:43After that, a long time passed.
01:46When the blessed life of Prophet Jacob came to an end,
01:52the angel of death came and said,
01:56why have you come? Have you come to meet me or to take my soul?
02:01The angel of death said, O Prophet of Allah,
02:04I have come at this moment to take your soul.
02:10The angel of death said,
02:13the two or three Qasids you spoke of, have they not come?
02:20The angel of death said,
02:23O Prophet of Allah,
02:25after black hair comes white hair.
02:29This is one of my Qasids.
02:33After power comes weakness.
02:39This is also one of my Qasids.
02:43After that, a straight back.
02:47This is also one of my Qasids.
02:52After black hair comes white hair.
02:56The older you get, the whiter you get.
03:01This is one of my Qasids.
03:04After power comes weakness.
03:10The older you get, the weaker you get.
03:18This is also one of my Qasids.
03:22After that, a straight back.
03:27These are three of my Qasids.
03:32This is the sequence of human life.
03:38Childhood, adolescence, adolescence, old age, and then old age.
03:46But sometimes, death occurs suddenly.
03:50Death occurs in adolescence.
03:52This is a separate matter.
03:54But normally, this happens with every human being.
04:00After black hair comes white hair.
04:04After power comes weakness.
04:07After a straight back comes weakness.
04:11We should consider them as Qasids.
04:14As soon as Qasids come,
04:18we should be aware that Qasids are coming from Qasids of death.
04:24May Allah enable us to prepare for death.
