00:29And in the joint committee hearing held in Congress today, this is in line with the possibility of passing a law against content creators or influencers who spread fake news.

00:42According to Attorney Yves Gondalez, Government Affairs and Public Policy Head of Google Province,

00:47YouTube has a so-called 4R, a Responsibility Framework to give action to those who spread fake news using the online platform.

00:57This is the Remove, which permanently removes videos or contents that go against the rules of YouTube.

01:04The Raise gives more engagement or viewers to legitimate contents.

01:10Reduce, which aims to reduce the number of people spreading fake information.

01:15And the Reward is a way to give value and respect to reliable content creators who follow the rules of YouTube where there is monetization or income for each video they post.

01:30According to YouTube, more than 9.1 billion, 80,000 content was removed last year.

01:38More than 4.8 billion channels were blocked and 1.3 billion comments were deleted.

01:44Detecting policy violators was also speeded up, where 97% of deleted videos were detected by an AI detector.

01:532% were reported by users and 1% were reported by organizations and government agencies.

02:05this move does not remove the rights of content creators who know how to post their videos,

02:12unless the laws that are being implemented against fake news are strengthened even more.
