00:11Naomi, following the successful stay-pilot rollout of the Rice for All program of the President's Kadiwa

00:18where you can buy well-milled rice for P40 per kilo,

00:22this rollout will continue in several major markets in Metro Manila,

00:26including Kamuning Market, Guadalupe Public Market, Pasay City Public Market,

00:31New Las Pinas City Public Market, and Malabon Central Market.

00:35Rice for All is available in the said markets from Tuesday to Saturday.

00:39The price of the Rice for All program can reach P45 to P50 per kilo of regular price of well-milled rice in the market.

00:50It aims to reduce the discrepancy between the lowest price of imported rice and the highest retail price.

00:57The DA also plans to release new rice varieties worth P36 per kilo and nutrient rice worth P38 per kilo.

01:06This will be the new year offering of the DA for the new year that will be celebrated by the masses.

01:12That's why it's a target to start on the start of January 2025.

01:16According to the DA, they intend to increase the number of Rice for All program of the President's Kadiwa in the markets,

01:22even outside of Metro Manila.

01:24The DA is assisting the DILG, DTI, DOLET, DFWD, and the offices of the President to support the President's Kadiwa program.

01:33The Department of Transportation is also coordinating the placement of the President's Kadiwa in the MRT and LRT stations.

01:42It is expected that five more Kadiwa sites will be added to the Rice for All program in the public markets this week.

01:50Aside from the public market, 41 Kadiwa centers in the country have Rice for All program.

01:57This is in line with President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.'s vision for food security and stable price of rice in the country.
