00:00We're thrilled because it's a global event, bringing people from all over the world together,
00:04and we think that is the real strength of Expo 2020.
00:07It's a meeting place for ideas, for thoughts about the future, how does the world look post-corona,
00:13but first and foremost for our businesses to make contact with businesses around the world.
00:18Denmark likes to see itself as a green forerunner and a sustainability champion.
00:23The Danish government has the most ambitious climate goals in the world.
00:27We also have the highest degree of green exports amongst all countries,
00:33so it's a very important part of our economy,
00:35but it's also a very part of what we believe is important to contribute to globally.
00:40So for us, green and sustainable themes, which also dominate a lot of other pavilions here at Expo 2020,
00:48are really at the core of what the world needs to be doing right now.
00:51The theme of the pavilion is, again, a number of different things.
00:55One of the overriding things is design, technology, and a word which doesn't translate into English,
01:04which is called hygge.
01:06Hygge is a perversive feeling throughout the Danish population of how you do business,
01:11how you interact, and how you work with people.
01:14Rather than be formal, it is almost like an informal way of working together and being together.
01:19The reason we chose this design and this way of presenting Denmark
01:23was to showcase design and architecture of what is known as the funkiest design from the 1970s,
01:31the first minimalistic design there is.
01:33We have exhibits that change week from week,
01:36so if you come to the Danish pavilion, you will find events that range and change every week,
01:43from technology to design to environment and so forth.
01:46So you have literally a massive different opportunity to see different things from the Danish industry.
