00:00Hello everyone, this is Anjana Kumar from Gulf News. I'm here at Bush Path where the

00:17one year to go celebrations for the Expo 2020 Dubai is happening. Remember Expo 2020 Dubai

00:23will be ready next year on October 20th and the celebrations have already begun. Today

00:29we will have some celebrity performances, street artists all performing at the Bush

00:36Path site. Just behind me is the stage where there will be a performance by Mariah Carey

00:42later tonight. People have started to gather up here and well the mood is exciting, everybody

00:49is looking forward to the evening.

01:00I've been following the Expo story since the day that Dubai got the bid and I think it

01:06is just remarkable how the past seven years have gone by and how the entire city is now

01:12very much in tune with the concept of Expo and what Dubai is trying to push towards.

01:17So I'm very excited to be here, I can't believe it's just one year left till we actually host

01:22the Expo and I'm just really excited to see what the city has to offer. I'm very excited

01:26over the flow of visitors that are going to come from all across the world so it's

01:32really exciting personally as an Emirati to be able to see the city grow and be able to

01:37actually see what Expo is all about so I'm very much looking forward to it. This is kind

01:41of like a glimpse to what we're going to expect but in a very small scale and I really want

01:46to just push the agenda for what Expo is trying to get at and being able to see Mariah Carey

01:51for the second time is like a blessing for me so that's why I'm like I'm really excited

01:55to be here tonight. It's a big fuss so we're thinking what will happen, we're so excited

02:01I mean we want to know what's in Expo 2020. We're going to enjoy Mariah Carey concert

02:07and we're going to enjoy Expo 2020 events. I'm a fan of Mariah but I'm also very very

02:14interested in Expo 2020 so with this being the kickoff, the one year free kickoff, that's

02:19exciting but it's going to be even way more beautiful than what it is now. I'm looking

02:25forward to the inventions because many things are exposed, are brought to life, new things

02:31happen at different Expos so with Expo 2020 we expect spaceships and things of that nature

02:38So I'm looking forward to spaceships. And the flying cars. But no Expo 2020 should be

02:47an awesome thing for Dubai. Dubai is already this beautiful magical place and it's going

02:54to be even more just wild and beautiful during Expo so definitely looking forward to it.
