00:00Good afternoon from the Pag-asa Weather Forecasting Center.

00:04This is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.

00:08We will see here in our latest satellite images,

00:12the thick clouds that are currently hovering

00:16here in the area of Visayas and Mindanao and in the eastern section of Luzon.

00:21First, the effect of the shear line or the convergence of hot and cold winds

00:26will end here in the extreme northern Luzon.

00:30Because of the easterlies or the hot winds from the Pacific Ocean,

00:34we expect this to be scattered rain,

00:37there will be a lot of thunderstorms here in the whole Visayas,

00:41around the region, in the area of Quezon, Aurora, and Isabela.

00:45So, the whole Visayas and the eastern section of Luzon,

00:47because of the easterlies, we expect the clouds and rain this afternoon until tomorrow.

00:53Because of the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ,

00:57this is the convergence of wind from the northern and southern hemispheres,

01:01we also expect the clouds and rain in a large part of Mindanao.

01:07We will continue to monitor the low-pressure area here in the West Philippine Sea,

01:12and we expect that the chance of a low-pressure area

01:16will be low for the next few days.

01:19This circulation or weather disturbance,

01:22we do not expect that it will have a direct effect on our country in the next few days.

01:30And for the location of our time tomorrow here in Luzon,

01:35because of the effect of the shoreline,

01:37we will still experience rain here in the Batanes region,

01:42and also the Bambayan Islands.

01:45Here in the eastern section of Luzon,

01:47in the provinces of Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and the whole of Cabiculan,

01:51because of the easterlies, we expect a high chance of clouds and rain.

01:57For Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon,

01:59because of the effect of the shoreline in a large part of Luzon,

02:03we will experience hot and humid weather tomorrow,

02:07especially in the morning and afternoon.

02:10But when it comes to late afternoon to evening,

02:13there are still chances of sudden and quick rains

02:17caused by localized thunderstorms.

02:21In the areas of Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,

02:24because of the easterlies,

02:25Visayas will experience high chances of clouds and rain.

02:29Meanwhile, the central and eastern sections of Mindanao

02:35will also experience high chances of clouds and rain.

02:44in the area of Zamboanga Peninsula.
