00:00Why Dubai? It's just the perfect place to come to acclimatise. You've got the heat, the atmosphere, and it's just a nice place.

00:12We've come out here for training for my last fight, we've enjoyed it, it's got everything we've got.

00:17We've got the real boxing down here. It gives us everything we need, like I said, to acclimatise, to go to other countries to prepare for fights.

00:26We've got a deal out here with Real Boxing Only Gym, and they've put us up here and are really looking after us.

00:33It's a great experience to come out here, and obviously all the boys have been out here before, training for fights, to acclimatise to the weather.

00:41We've all just come out here again, so it's very good.

00:44The population in Dubai is getting more popular in boxing, there's more people interested.

00:49It must be a little bit harder to get musculated, it would have been so hot. It must be hard to go to the gym, but I think more and more fighters are starting to box out of Dubai, and hopefully it builds for the future.

01:00I'm here to support Anthony Fowler, I'm here for his training and helping him improve. I'm a very similar style to his next opponent, Brian Rose.

01:10So by bringing me, he'll get the best sparring, he brings me on, I bring him on, and it's great for both of us.

01:18I love Dubai, it's a lovely place to come. There's a lot to do, it's good to get away from England in your normal environment, taking yourself out of your comfort zone, getting out of distractions, any distractions here.

01:32We come, we don't solely focus on our boxing, we come to the gym in the morning, to the Real Boxing Only Gym, I think it's the best gym in Dubai to train.

01:42You've got everything you need, you've got your perfect ring, you've got lots of floor space, you've got bags, and all the facilities that you need are here, and it's a great place to come.

01:53They look after us every time we come, and we can't ask for much more hospitality.

01:59This is probably the fourth camp that I've done here with my fighters. The first time I came, I was told about, obviously I'd never been to Dubai, I was told about the heat, the conditions, but it was also easy to eat healthy as well in Dubai, which is a big factor.

02:16You go in some places, it's very hard to eat healthy. We're fighters, we've got weights to make, we need to eat well.

02:23So I tried Dubai, and Waleed Din, who works here at Real Boxing Only, he sent me a message on my Instagram, he saw that I said I was looking at going to Dubai for a training camp, and he says, try Real Boxing Only, come and try the gym out.

02:39So I came, and the first time that I walked through the doors, I just liked the vibe, met Michelle straight away, the people here, they just made me feel so welcome, and made me feel comfortable.

02:54To train my fighters to the best of my ability, like I do back at home, I need to be comfortable, I need to like the environment. Some gyms you walk in, and there's no atmosphere, there's no feeling, yeah, no soul, that's it.

03:09This has got everything, and I love the place. So we came once, got on really well with Michelle, everybody at Waleed, everybody that worked here, and then we got talking, and Real Boxing Only said, look, can we do a deal, tie you up, so you use this as your training camp base.

03:30I was like, yeah, okay, so now we come over three times a year, and I bring the fighters over, whether it's the beginning of the camp, or the end of the camp, whatever can fit around the dates, and it's home away from home.
