00:0030,000 points for Kevin Durant last night in the loss against the Memphis Grizzlies, 119-112.
00:07Huge accomplishment. You look at those names that he's with in the 30,000 point club.
00:12I mean, it's the who's who in the history of the NBA.
00:15All Hall of Famers involved there.
00:18And, you know, really nice gesture, I thought, at the end of the game.
00:21John Moran had 26 points, went over and gave Durant the ball there.
00:24And, you know, look, we probably make too much of little gestures that go on on the court.
00:29But so much we make of John Moran's little things off the court sometimes, too.
00:33Maybe every once in a while it's time to give this kid some credit.
00:36No, absolutely. Big, big time there from John Moran.
00:39It was really cool to see him talk about how he's idolized Kevin Durant.
00:42And a big win for the Grizzlies.
00:44But when you talk about the 30,000 points, which is something that's a story that will probably last much longer than the game itself.
00:50And there are some questions about the Suns and the Grizzlies did take care of business in that one.
00:53But I remember seeing Kevin Durant play for the first time as a freshman at Texas.
00:58I got a chance to see him and I probably could have imagined him getting to this point and thinking about him scoring 30,000 points in his career.
01:03And probably could be even more had he not dealt with the injuries that he's dealt with.
01:06He truly is a special player, still playing at a very high level.
01:09And one of the guys, when you talk about LeBron James and Steph Curry, you have to talk about Kevin Durant and not taking it for granted.
01:14Because we don't know how much longer he will be able to play.
01:17But the way his game is and the way it's aging is definitely something you should cherish while you still can.
