00:00It's actually, as you said, a family thriller, with a bit of comedy and emotions and all.
00:10Actually a wholesome package of all these factors.
00:13I see.
00:14We are touching all areas in a minimalistic way, whether it is humor, action, thrill,
00:20emotions, everything fun and all.
00:23So it is a fun ride for the whole family of all generations, like from the children to
00:29the younger generation to the older guys.
00:32Anyone can identify or relate the characters, the situations.
00:36It's placed in a very remote area, in a village area.
00:40And actually Malayalis are very nostalgic about village things and all.
00:46And they can, you know, just cherish the nostalgic moments in the theater because the film is
00:53still doing well in Kerala theaters.
00:56So that opinion, good opinion, will have an advantage among the Gulf Malayalis, hopefully.
01:03And yeah, it's an entertainer in every sense.
01:07The star doesn't matter, the previous films or hit makers, the directors doesn't matter.
01:14Nothing matters except the quality of the films these days.
01:16And that's a welcome change.
01:18Quality things or quality products are coming and people are getting entertained in every
01:22sense, in whichever genre the films are made, whether it's a thriller, it's a humor or emotional
01:28things, drama, anything.
01:30So people are getting rooted to their basic roots and grounded.
01:35And from there, the platform is strong and it's laid in a very realistic manner.
01:44People are thronging into the theaters and applauding and accepting and even rejecting
01:50the bad ones, accepting the good ones.
01:52And that's a give and take policy.
01:53So we have to give the good ones to receive the good ones back.
01:57Variety is the spice of life.
01:58Everyone knows that.
01:59So in my initial days, all these college type chocolate image heroes and campus things,
02:06kuchiguchi love stories were coming my way.
02:09And at one point, even I got bored with myself, seeing my face without any change.
02:14Even the characters I played didn't have any drastic changes.
02:18So even I got bored of myself.
02:19So what would be the case with the audience?
02:24So I took a break.
02:25I tried to reinvent myself, started off with small character roles, cameo roles, side roles
02:30and all.
02:31And then later found out my so-called humor body language, which suited my body language,
02:39humor pattern.
02:41And that was a welcome change.
02:42And that started with a film called Gulumal.
02:45So till that time, whenever I did some comic sequences, people would cry.
02:49They didn't laugh.
02:50It just didn't land.
02:51It didn't bring the smiles on the people's face.
02:54But from Gulumal onwards, the trend slowly changed and people started to smile to my
03:01jokes.
03:02And then later it developed into a bigger laugh, a big laughter.
03:08So things were going in a positive manner.
03:10And in between, I tried some negative or gray shade characters as well.
03:14In films like Traffic and Scenius, my characters were a bit of a negative shade.
03:20So even that films and characters were appreciated.
03:23Even How Old Are You, that character called Rajiv.
03:27And apart from that, films like Take Off happened, Ramandedham Thottam happened.
03:33In Ramandedham Thottam, the entire scenario changed in which I played a romantic hero,
03:38but in a more matured manner.
03:40So even in that way, people accepted me.
03:43So the difference in characters or difference in the stories that I selected, the good ones
03:47were really accepted by the people and the bad ones, of course, were rejected by them.
03:52So I tried to reinvent myself again and again.
03:55The process is still continuing and I'm still trying to keep my basics right and trying
04:01to experiment more and more.
